to what Fr. O’B stood for. Through the yearly lecturer and
reactors of the highest caliber from various professions,
O’Bikoliana hopes to inspire, provoke healthy discussions
among Bicolanos, and instill in their consciousness cultur-
al and social awareness and appreciation.
Fr. O’Brien taught us the social encyclicals of the
Church when we were in high school. He was a strong ad-
vocate for social justice and was a consistent defender of
the oppressed. Thus, it is quite appropriate that the topic of
this afternoon’s presenation is ‘The Role of Social Media

O’Bikoliana is similar to Filipiniana in some ways. But
the major difference is that O’Bikoliana will strive to re-

the larger community to use O’Bikoliana as an educational
resource for those interested to know more about Bikol

There comes a time in one’s life that one faces one’s mor-

a legacy to our Alma Mater by establishing and funding
