Ambystoma Names
Ambystoma
A race divided by its great differences and
settled by centuries of chaos, the Ambystoma
are a race of Gecko forged with the war, their
two factions are alike as the sun and the moon.
Two Words
The Ambystoma are divided in two subraces.
The Salamander are devotees of the fire, they
are violent and bigger that they brothers
Axolotl, the Salamander are a tribe with
superior height and strength, they hunt alone or
with a couple trusting in his great power.
The Axolotl on the other hand aren’t as big or
violent like their brothers but, what they don’t
have in muscles they have it in brain, they hunt
in group and devastate their opponent with
quick and well design attack plans.
The Ambystoma's name is given according to
some characteristic that has the body or
according to some lived situation; this is made
this way because they consider that their gods
chose the right name of the newborn. Otherwise
it is not uncommon for them to de name after a
god.

Ambystoma Traits
As an Ambystoma, you have the following
traits.
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score
increase by 2.
Age. Ambystoma mature at the same rate as
humans with the advantage of never getting old.
On average, they live about 200 years.
Alignment. The Ambystoma are extremist while
the Salamander tend to chaotic alignments, the
Axolotl tend to Lawful alignments.
Size. Most Ambystoma stands at about 7 feet
tall, thought their total body length including
their tails is often longer than 11 feet. Their
weight ranges from 300 to 400 pounds. Your
size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 ft.
Prepared for battle. Rather than sleep, you
enter a torpid state. In this state, you remain
aware out of surrounds and only require 4 hours
of torpor (rather than 8 hours of sleep) to gain
the benefit of a long rest
Languages. You can speak, read and write
Common and Abyssal.
Subrace. The Ambystoma are divided in two
subraces that are constantly fighting each other,
they are the Salamander and the Axolotl.
Salamander
The Salamander is a subrace of the Ambystoma
that lives in warm places, your skin is cover with
burning ashes, and your blood is made with lava
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score
increase by 2.
Irradiation. Thanks to your peculiar body you
generate a 5 feet radiant area around them.
Burning. You have advantage on ability checks
and saving throws made to escape a grapple.
Fire Body. You are resistance to fire damage
but is vulnerable to ice damage.
Spontaneous Combustion. Once per long rest
you can make 1d10 of fire damage in a 5 feet
area around you.

Axolotl
The Axolotl is a subrace of the Ambystoma that
lives near places that have water like swamps or
lakes, your skin is cover with slime, you have
gills and you can bread under water
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score
increase by 2.
Darkvision. Your darkvision has a radius of 60
feet.
Dank. You have advantage on ability checks
and saving throws made to escape a grapple.
Swim. You have a swimming speed of 40 feet
and can breathe under water.
Regeneration. Every time you take a rest you
heal yourself 1d6 if it’s a short rest or 1d10 if
it’s a long rest.
