This is a great project to get the children involved! Go out and collect some fallen leaves in different sizes and colors cut off the stalks and put them to one side. 2. Cut out a word strip from Cosmo Cricket Haunted paper using decorative blade #2804 in the trimmer side of your # 1040 combo trimmer. 3. Next stamp Imaginisce snag ‘em stamps onto relevant colored Bazzill; spider x 1, bat x 4, pumpkin x 4, owl x 3. Cut them out leaving a slim border and ink the edges with brown cats eyes ink from the chocolate and blueberries stacker. 4. Turn on the laminator. Open some large hot pockets (I used 3 for my project) and lay your leaves inside, spacing them out to allow space for the lamination to stick between the leaves. Laminate the sheets supporting them on some card as they feed through so your leaves stay in place and supporting them on the way out so they don’t curl. 5. Open up a 12 x12 hot pocket and Year insert your word strip and stamped n te e images spaced out, close it, laminate it and switch off the machine. 6. Cut out your laminated leaves, leaving a margin round each one so the lamina- tion stays together. 7. Cut out your word strip and stamped images again leaving a margin round them so the lamination stays together. 8. Cut a 6 ½’’ diameter circle out of the middle of your clear scraps acrylic XL dot. 9. Punch holes around the inside circle you’ve just cut out and thread with black sparkly thread to make a cobweb in the middle of your wreath. 10. Build up your design around the circle, overlapping the leaves and attaching them with silicon glue to create dimension (and to stay stuck in the elements!) leave the edges of the leaves free so they flutter in the breeze. 11. Adhere your word strip and stamped images in place with silicon. 12. Pierce two small holes in the top centre edge of the acrylic circle, add thread and hang on your door to greet all your spooky visitors. The great thing about this project is not only do you get to preserve the gorgeous autumn colors in the leaves but the whole thing is also weather proof thanks to the purple cows laminator!
