Call Test –

The main tests the FEs do for call test are

1. CA feature Enable with - Speed test (uplink/downlink)
Check for the previous QIC reports and determine the Scope of Work to be performed.

1 -Take PRE CV before starting with the call test

2- Check if the SFPs are compatible and BER is present

Use the SFP compatibility tool to check if the SFPs are compatible or not. If any SFPs are found not compatible, please ask
the FE to replace the SFPs before proceeding for the call test.

3 – Login Details
The Tech needs to get logged in with NFSD. If any changes are required to be done on the commercial, sectors, the FE
needs to login as Service Affecting. Make sure the FE logins with NSFD accordingly.

4.Pre-Fiber Pictures
Ask FE to share the pre Fiber picture, In case if we are going to plug in noncommercial fibers after FE arrived.
Cross check nothing has been changed in commercial pre fibers and check the fiber numbers at the site.

5 - Powered up the status check –

The sectors has to be powered up to full power (As per CIQ) so that the FE can detect the signal.Check if the sectors being
tested are powered up or not.

6. Unlocking the FDDs –

The FDDs needs to be unlocked. Check if the required carriers FDD are unlocked.check if fdds are unlocked, if locked,
unlock them.

7. Unbarring –
The sectors need to unbarred so that the FE can latch onto and make the test call. Check the barred status, if found barred
make it unbarred.

8. Check the CA Enable status.

First step For CA Test on Alpha/Beta/Gamma sectors Receptively.

Unlock 700 Alpha and 2100 Alpha sectors tell FE to start call test and speed test

Check Did we get S1 carrier as which we enabled as CA towards 2100 and 700 Alpha respectively.

SCL02163_2A_1 CA with same site SCL02163_7A_1 (Intra)

SCL02163_2B_1 CA with same site SCL02163_7B_1 (Intra)

8. Follow the post call test procedure.
