Topics based on which different Course Curriculum are created:

Understanding self and others

➢ Model of Mind: It is a basic model which helps us understand the structure of the mind,
what is conscious mind, what is subconscious mind, and the interplay between
conscious and subconscious mind. It also helps us in understanding our behaviour and
behaviour of other people more effectively.
➢ Map ≠ Territory: It is another model which helps us in understanding the human
behaviour on the basis of how we receive and process information.
Goal Setting and alignment
➢ SOFT SEA: Soft SEA is an ICHARS in-house initiated coaching model which is very
effective in able to identify: What your goals are? What is the plan of action? What are
the hindrances that are stopping you from achieving the plan of action? And then finally
combining all this information with other hypnotic processes that people will learn in the
course, they will be able to handle these hindrances more effectively and accomplish
their set goals.
➢ Mental Bank: The Mental bank is converting Soft SEA process into measurable,
observable outcomes which when followed correctly can actually lead to observable
changes in people’s behaviour and observable changes in their performance.
➢ Wheel of life: wheel of life is a model which help us in understanding the different areas
of our lives and how these different areas and aspects of our life needs to be focused
independently and collectively. There are times when we are focusing on one area more
than the other which can create a sense of misbalance and disharmony in our overall
life. Wheel of life will help us understand and create a balance in these aspects.
➢ Micro expression: This program helps us understand facial expressions that occur within
1/25th of a second. They are involuntary and expose a person’s true emotions. They can
happen as a result of conscious suppression or unconscious repression. These facial
expressions are universal, meaning they occur on everyone around the world. It is
important for you to understand which expression may lead you to the negative or
positive impression on the other person. This process helps you to control the negative
expressions and how to work more on positive expressions for better results.

Changing associations and intrinsic motivation

➢ SWISH: It is a process which helps us understand how our feelings and emotions and our
dissent are the results of certain stories that play in our mind. SWISH can help us identify
the stories in terms of thought patterns and can help us change these stories which
allow us to become more motivated.

➢ IF / Then: this process is similar to SWISH except that it works more on the basis of
identifying the thoughts which are stopping us or hindering our growth. This model will
help us overcome those hindrances. Both SWISH and If/Then support the Soft SEA
process, Soft SEA is where we identify the goals and SWISH and If/Then is where we
manage our thought process so that we can work towards the goals by handling our
disappointments and becoming more intensely motivated.
Handling stress and emotions
➢ EET: Emotional Empowering Technique (EET) is a very powerful and quick pain
management and emotional management process. It can help us handle our emotional
state and physicals state effectively. It can also help us understand the deeper reasons
associated with the problems that we are facing in our lives.
➢ Self-hypnosis: It is a model which help us to relax with certain hypnotic techniques. Self-
hypnosis or auto-hypnosis is a form, a process, or the result of a self-induced hypnotic
state. Frequently, self-hypnosis used as a vehicle to enhance the efficacy of self-
suggestion; and, in this state, the suggestion given by a person to himself/herself be
easily accepted by his/her mind.
➢ ABC model CBT: Since our emotions are the result of how we proceed information. ABC
model focus on helping us understand how perceptions lead to our emotions, and how
this model itself works towards understanding our perception and change them so that
we can handle our emotions.
➢ Flip Model: It is a model that can help us to understand our emotions and also how each
of these emotions serve a particular purpose. Once we understand the purpose it
becomes easier for us to move from problems to the solutions. This is exactly what the
flip does. To help the managers to move their focus away from the problem to actually
the solution and what they can do to resolve the problems.
➢ Self-Questions: Many times when we are in problems we have a tendency to ask
questions ourselves. One of the first questions that we ask is ‘why me?’ This is probably
the most useless question to ask. Why is this so useless and what are the questions
should we ask to be able to move towards our desired outcomes is something that we
focus on this topic.
➢ Mindfulness: Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our
thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and the surrounding environment, through a
gentle, nurturing lens. Mindfulness also involves acceptance, meaning that we pay
attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them—without believing, for
instance, that there’s a “right” or “wrong” way to think or feel in a given moment. When
we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we’re sensing in the present
moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future.

Creating Sustainable Change
➢ TOTE: It is an NLP model that focuses on identifying strategies that we follow. The idea is
that anything and everything we do consistently is a result of strategies that we are
following unconsciously. This model helps us to identify the faulty strategies that we are
following consistently so that we can; not just identify them but also change them. It
also helps us to identify successful strategies that are been followed by us or others so
that we can replicate those strategies more consciously and more effectively.
➢ Anchors: Most of the emotions that we experience are the result of the certain
association that we have with people or with things. Anchors help us to create new
associations, you can think of anchors as emotional backend. So as we install these
buttons in our systems, we have lot more control over what emotions we feel there and
then and how to make use of these emotions.
➢ Reframing: This is a process that helps us understand how everything we are doing is
actually driven by a particular positive intention we have and benefits deriving out of it.
At times the benefits are unconscious and therefore it becomes difficult for us to
address the situation. It is a process that helps us identify these conscious and
unconscious positive intentions so that we can change our behaviour. And at the same
time protect our positive intention and still continue to enjoy our benefits.
➢ Level Of Transformation (LOT): LOT is one of those models which completely transforms
the way you work with yourself and others. The model focuses on helping you to create
transformation not only on the level of your environment but in deeper levels including
your behaviour, believes, skills and identity so as to be able to completely transform the
way you work with yourself.
➢ Facilitation: Facilitation is a process that trainers, team builders, meeting
leaders, managers, and communicators use to add content, process, and structure to
meet the needs of an individual, group, or team. It is used in helping a group of people
achieve the goal set forth in their meeting. The main role of a facilitator is to add value
to a group planning session or meeting by keeping the group on-task and moving together
in the same direction.
Communication
➢ Presuppositions: NLP is considered to be one of the most comprehensive models of the
communication. The presupposition that we are talking about will help us understand
the process of communication and this understanding can completely transform the way
that we interact with ourselves and others.
➢ Meta Model: Many times we are working with people who give us information which is
not clear enough. And at times we are able to ask questions and ways in which we can
receive information more specifically. Meta models are the set of questions which can
be used in an interview or in training process and HR process in which we are able to
collect more information about the person that we would be or we are working with and
about the product, we are dealing with.

➢ ORID: ORID is a specific facilitation framework that enables a focused conversation with
a group of people in order to reach some point of agreement or clarify differences.
➢ Advanced conversational Hypnosis: This model is the understanding of how language
can be used to influence people not only in one to one conversation but also in larger
scale.
