AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESS
I, REYNALDO REYES LIM, JR., 15 years of age, single, Filipino and a resident of Brgy.
Astorga, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, Philippines, after having been duly sworn to an oath in
accordance with law, do hereby depose and say:
1. That I am the same and identical person who executed this foregoing instrument;

2. That I personally know the late ROEM G. JUMUAD on account that we were close
friends for a long period of time and neighbours in Brgy. Astorga, Sta. Cruz, Davao
del Sur;

3. That on May 1, 2018, I was bathing at Soriano Beach, Brgy. Astorga, Sta. Cruz,
Davao del Sur, together with my friends;

4. That on the same date at around 1:00 in the afternoon, I saw ROEM G. JUMUAD,
running towards the bushy part of the area, with his hands holding a towel placed
around his neck;

5. That said person was chased by one (1) unidentified person carrying a black sling
bag and certain alias “BORABOG” in the name of JOVANNIE ESTORBA, a resident
of Brgy. Astorga, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur;

6. That when I about to run towards the commotion, I heard one (1) gun shot, a
minute after, I heard another gun shot, and then two(2) gun shots successively,
after a minute;

7. That when I attempted to proceed at the crime scene, I was prohibited by my co-
spectator because the un-uniformed policemen prevented the people from
overseeing the scene;

8. That I executed this affidavit freely and voluntarily, and to inform the proper
authority of the truthfulness of the statement herein contained and this is further
executed for whatever legal purpose this may serve best.

We, REYNALDO LIM and JOCELYN R. LIM, Filipino, married, of legal age, and a
resident of Brgy. Astorga, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, after being sworn in accordance with
law, do hereby depose and state:

1. That we are the parents of the affiant in the Affidavit of Witness;

 2. That our child REYNALDO REYES LIM, JR.is fully aware of the consequences of the
Affidavit of Witness, duly executed by him.
