following individuals who guided and motivated the researchers. The proponents of this

study would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to these people who contributed in the

completion of their work.

First, to the researchers’ adviser and mentor, Engr. Minerva Q. Cañete who have been

with them all throughout their research journey. She guided them on the step by step

procedure of their study and taught them how to present the research works as clearly as

possible.

To Engr. Jennifer C. Cacal and Engr. Nena G. Zara, who were the researchers’

instructors during Research 1 and 2 and who have been their research readers during their

final defense: they have presented them the procedures and methodologies to be used and

given them corrections and recommendations. Those were the great contributions they have

made for the improvement of their works.

To the Civil Engineering graduates of Palawan State University from year 2015 to

2017 and also to their employers/supervisors who have given their time and effort in

answering the survey questionnaires sent and given to them. Deepest thanks to those

graduates who have been very approachable and friendly to the researchers, those who

willingly helped the researchers in reaching their fellow graduates to be able to answer the

survey.

To the following Civil Engineering graduates: Victor Czar A. Austria, Caryl B.

researchers from the College of Engineering of La Salle University who also conducted a

To the parents of the researchers who have always been with them showing their

endless support, care, love and understanding. They have given them encouragement to

finish their study even though there were struggles and difficulties encountered on their path.
