Program Outcomes

For each attribute in the following list, circle the number that best corresponds to how
much you feel the course helped students develop that attribute (1 = very poorly, 5 = very
well).

Outcomes directly related to EE 165 The course was designed to achieve the following
outcomes:
Attribute Very Very
Poorly Well

a An ability to apply knowledge of science, 1 2 3 4 5

and engineering
b An ability to conduct experiments, as well 1 2 3 4 5
as to analyze and interpret data

Other outcomes that the course might also

achieve:

c An ability to design a system, component, 1 2 3 4 5

or process to meet desired needs
d An ability to function on teams 1 2 3 4 5
e An ability to define and solve engineering 1 2 3 4 5
problems.
f An understanding of professional ethical 1 2 3 4 5
responsibility
g An ability to communicate effectively 1 2 3 4 5
h The broad education necessary to 1 2 3 4 5
understand the impact of engineering
solutions
i A recognition of the need for, and an ability 1 2 3 4 5
to engage in life-long learning
j A knowledge of contemporary issues 1 2 3 4 5
k An ability to use the techniques, skills, and 1 2 3 4 5
modern engineering tools necessary for
engineering practice

Constructive comments about how the above could be better achieved:

Improving the labs to allow students to write the code will help the student to understand
how the structure is built and to give the students a greater depth of how to modify
certain components to improve it.
