WEEK 4

1) Probability of heart rate between 70 to 110 using SPO2.

WEEK 5
1) Mean and standard deviation for HR of SPO2.

µ = 81.94
σ = 15.14

Conclusion: The mean and standard deviation of 56 student is 81.94 and 15.14
respectively.

Conclusion: 37 students have low fast food intake which is less than 3 times per month,
14 students have moderate fast food intake at 4 to 6 times per month and only 5
students have high fast food intake which is more than 7 times per month.
3) 2 X 2 table

Let
D+ = Normal HR of SPO2 (60 – 100 bpm)
D- = Abnormal HR of SPO2 (X<60 bpm & X>100 bpm)
T+ = Positive Tomophobia
T- = Negative Tomophobia

D+ D-

T+ 20 3

T- 32 1

Conclusion: 20 students have Tomophobia with a normal heart rate and 3 students have
Tomophobia with an abnormal heart rate. 32 does not have Tomophobia with a normal
heart rate and 1 student does not have Tomophobia with an abnormal heart rate.
WEEK 6
1) 95% of confidence interval (CI) of 17 males
a) One-sided
b) Two-sided
2) Probability of type I and type II error associated with 2X2 table.

Let
D+ = Normal HR of SPO2 (60 – 100 bpm)
D- = Abnormal HR of SPO2 (X<60 bpm & X>100 bpm)
T+ = Positive Tomophobia
T- = Negative Tomophobia

T- 32 1 33

Total 52 4 56

Type I error; (3/4) = 0.75

Type II error; (32/52) = 0.62
Conclusion: Probability of type I error is at 0.75 and probability of type II error is at 0.62.
