One day, a man wanted to see the world. He put on his hat and left his house.
He lived in the middle of a small WOOD . There were many trees around his house and
leaves on the ground. He walked through the WOODS until he came to a FIELD. Some
farmers were working there. They were growing vegetables. They were taking water from a
small STREAM which flowed through the FIELD. The man continued walking until he came to
a HILL. It wasn’t very high but it was very steep. He climbed the HILL. From the top, he could
see a high MOUNTAIN far away. There was snow on top of the MOUNTAIN.
The man walked for a very long time until he came to a wide RIVER. It was flowing very fast
and the man could not swim. He saw a small boat on the bank. He took the boat and rowed
across the RIVER. When he reached the other bank, he left the boat and continued walking.
After a very long time, he came to the high MOUNTAIN. The man climbed to the top of it.
He was so high that he could see all the way to the SEA. There were many ships and boats
sailing on the SEA.
The man climbed down the other side of the MOUNTAIN. He was in a deep, dark VALLEY.
There were so many trees that he could not see the sun. He decided that he did not want to
see the world. It was too big!
The man turned round and walked all the way home. He was safe in his warm house in the
WOODS. He decided he was happy here and home is the best place in the world!
