Use the appropriate form (Basic, Premium, NSP) to enrol your exam candidates by the registration
deadline.

If you have missed the deadline for registration and you still need to register candidates please contact us
by email to check whether there are any places available. We won’t accept any block entry forms after the
deadline without previous authorisation. In this case a late entry fee may apply.

If you are a school please use NSP prices and block entry forms.

Fees from September 2019 onwards won’t be available until mid-summer 2019.

To register your candidates for these sessions by e-mail please read the following instructions.
Please complete the appropriate tab in the Block Entry form with the required information. Please note that
when you click on the blank spaces to fill in the required information, automatic messages will appear
explaining the format required for every category. Please list all your candidates in pairs for the Speaking test
for each exam.

Once your registration form is complete, please save with school/academy name and return to the following

Speaking Test

If you wish to select your pairings for the Speaking Test, please enter your candidates in the desired order.
Unfortunately, once pairs have been assigned, they cannot be changed. Every effort will be made to ensure
that these pairings are respected. Please note, however, that it is sometimes administratively necessary to
split pairs due to unexpected absences or circumstances on the scheduled day of the interview.

Test Day Photo

Candidates registered to the Cambridge Assessment English exams (except for the “for Schools” exams) will
have their photo taken on the day of the Speaking test. Please use the Test Day Consent form provided in the
folder together with the Registration form and this document, and distribute it to your exam candidates.

Regulations
By completing and submitting the block entry form you agree to read and distribute these regulations to your
candidates.

No exam candidates can register for an exam more than once in the same exam session.
Candidates requiring special exam arrangements due to special requirements (hearing, visual or other
difficulties) must inform the British Council when submitting their exam registration.

Please note that it is the responsibility of each candidate to arrive at the exam venue at least 30 minutes before
the start of the exam. Failure to do so may result in exam admission being prohibited.

All candidates must present official and current documentation (Identity Card, Passport or Driving License) for
identification during the exam. Failure to do so may result in exam admission being prohibited.

Candidates found using or attempting to use unauthorised items during the exam (dictionaries, tape or digital
recorders, mobile phones or any other unauthorised device), will be reported to the University of Cambridge and
are unlikely to receive an examination result.
The British Council reserves the right to refuse late exam entries received after the established registration
period has ended.

The British Council reserves the right to cancel an exam session or exam, with the corresponding full refund of
exam fees, if the minimum number of 10 registered candidates is not reached.

The British Council remains exempt from all responsibility concerning any disturbance to exam sessions due to
circumstances beyond its control (e.g. electricity power cuts, loss of documents in transit). In the event of any
disturbance to an exam the British Council undertakes to do everything possible of offer candidates the correct
service at a later date. Refunds will be at the discretion of the British Council.

○ Early cancellations: deadline for receipt of early cancellations is 3 calendar days after the registration
deadline. If you wish to do so please complete and submit the following form by email.

○ Cancellations for medical reasons: deadline for receipt of cancellations for medical reasons is 7 calendar
days after the written test day. If you wish to do so please complete and submit the following form by email.

Requests for refunds due to medical reasons should be sent by email to the address
exams.madrid@britishcouncil.es, accompanied by an official medical certificate, explaining the reasons for the
cancellation.

FCE/FCE fs/CAE/CPE exams have 50€ administration fee discounted from any exam cancellation refund.
KET/KET fs/PET/PET fs exams have 25€ administration fee discounted from any exam cancellation refund.

Road to success in Cambridge Assessment English First and Advanced
As an addvantage member scheme centre, all your registered FCE,
FCE for Schools and CAE candidates, and your teachers can have
access to our Exams Candidate Support website “Road to Success”.

Road to Success offers your students additional on-line practice and

revision exercises to help them prepare for their Cambridge English
exam and boost their knowledge, skills and confidence.

Your students will receive a personal username and password by

email. If you want your teachers to have access to Road to Success to support their students, please provide a
single contact name and email address on the Block Entry form.

The British Council will only use the personal information provided for granting access to the Road to Success
service.

Personal information provided will not be used for any other purpose and will be destroyed on the service expiry
date.

Please note that this is an optional service. If you do not wish your students to have access to Road to Success,
please do not include their email addresses.

Use of electronic devices

Mobile phones and any other electronic devices brought to the venue
will be collected at the beginning of Exam Paper 1 and kept under
supervision by the British Council staff until after the last exam paper
(Listening) has finished.

Under no circumstances will candidates be allowed access to their

mobiles or other devices during break times or in between papers.

The British Council will not be liable for any loss or damage to personal
effects while at the test venue.

We strongly recommend that where possible, mobile phones or other

electronic devices are not brought to the exam venue on the day of the
exam.
