WE’RE EXCITED TO HAVE YOU ON THIS SHOW

We put a lot of time, money, staff hours, and effort into every show we produce. We will
abide by our end of this agreement, and we only ask that you do the same. As you know
our city deserve more platforms and event like this one, and together we can make it
happen. Let’s make this one an ultimate success together and let’s have a crazy good
show on top of a dope party.

GENERAL TERMS
This Contract applies only to this one I Am Music Montreal event. As you complete this agreement, it’s your
responsibility to read and understand all of the listed show details, terms, and policies.

DATE OF SHOW
• FRIDAY NOVEMBER 16TH

VENUE NAME & LOCATION


• Time Supper Club : 997 Rue St-Jacques - Old Port Montreal

VENUE RULES
• FANS MUST BE OVER 18 : Fans must be over 18 years old and have valid ID to attend this show.
• FOR BOTTLE SERVICE, RESERVATIONS CAN BE TAKEN.
• a Proper Dress Code Is a Must.

VENUE REQUIRES MEMBER NAMES


• You're required to provide us the First & Last name for each person that will PERFORM ONSTAGE WITH
YOU for this show.
• This is for security reasons.
• This is so venue staff and our staff can distinguish between performers and fans.

FOR BANDS
• MUST NOTIFY ME IF YOU'LL BE FULL BAND AT THIS CLUB This venue is not always set up to
accommodate full bands with a drum kit. So if you want or need to perform with a full band and drums at
this venue you need to notify me in writing of that, and I'll need to verify if the venue will have the sound
system equipment needed for a full band on this date.

BACKLINE & BACKTRACKS


• This venue does not provide any backline support equipment (instruments, amps, drums). So make sure
you bring what you need & send us a list of that equipment ahead of time for us to double the check the
wiring needs. This venue only provides the PA System, sound system, Microphone and sound tech.

THIS AGREEMENT REQUIRES YOU TO DO THE FOLLOWING FOR THIS SHOW


• Sell 20+ Ticket in Advance before 6:00 PM on Nov 16th.
• I will show up to perform, on time. I will not to cancel or breach this agreement.

DOOR SALES POLICY
• You cannot rely on fans to pay at the door until you’ve sold 20+ Tickets in advance.
• Relying 100% on door sales, and selling 0 or few advance Tickets is a breach of this contract

TIME SLOT POLICY


• Time Slots will be based on artist preference and to be MOST FAIR, will heavily factor in which acts have
sold the most advance tickets.
• You’ll be asked to set your Time Slot Preferences after you complete this Contract.
• When an artist hits 20 tickets sold, we will lock in their time slot. So, if you sell your tickets last minute,
you risk not getting one of your top time slot choices. Acts with 0 or very few tickets sold will not know
their exact time slot until artist load-in.

PHONE POLICY
• Due to the high demand, we unfortunately cannot field the volume of phone calls we receive. We do all
booking for unsigned artists through email, which ensures everything agreed upon is clear and in writing.

REFUND POLICY
• I am Music will not honor refunds if the artist cancels, breaks venue rules, or breaches this contract;
however, in these cases, we may honor tickets sold to a future reschedule date. If I am Music, an act of God
(weather, natural disaster, etc), or the venue cancels the show, then refunds will be given or tickets can be
honored on a future show.

HOW ARTIST PAYMENT IS CALCULATED


• We want artists to make money and have funds to reinvest in their music. We are together a team and
partners working in the same goal of making this event a success, so you get of course a % of the sales
you bring in. You’re paid based on your total draw of fans.
• Your Total Payment = Minimum Guaranteed Pay Scale + Bonus Pays

• As long as you get 20+ advance tickets sold, you're guaranteed to be paid exactly what we owe you for
this show, per this Contract, even if the show is a complete loss for us and the venue.

METHOD OF ARTIST PAYMENT


• Your payment will be sent via EMAIL 48 to 72h after the show or cash same day as the show if your
tickets have been sold ahead of time and accounting balanced before doors opening.

LIABILITY TERMS
• Subject to applicable law, I am Music’s maximum liability to you for anything arising out of or related to
this agreement will not exceed I am Music’s net collections on tickets sold for your act (net collections
equals gross sales less expenses less any payouts or refunds). In no event may I am Music be held liable
for any consequential, indirect, special, incidental or punitive damages arising out of or related to this
Agreement

PENALTIES FOR BREACHING THIS E-CONTRACT


• Acts with 0 or few tickets sold will have no say in what time slot they’re given

RIGHT TO RESCHEDULE 0 OR LOW SELLERS


• Depending on the show, the venue, and how many tickets other acts have sold, in rare cases venue staff
or I am Music will need to reschedule a 0 or low ticket seller to a future show. We will give you as much
notice as possible, but to avoid the risk of this happening, please have your tickets sold as far in advance
of show time as you can.

BOOKING FUTURE SHOWS WITH AFTON


• We are happy to rebook artists that meet the requirements of this-contract. However, if you breach this
contract either by canceling, not showing up, or not following the agreements, I am Music may refuse to
book or refer you to new shows.
• After a breach of contract a second chance may be given at our discretion & under additional rules.
