Inthe forward servicing compartment, check that batteries (150PC)/(50PC) are connected ©. Connect the electrical Ground Power Unit (GPU) (if to be used) (Refer to TASK 24.00-00-860-801), COCKPIT (1-FIG. 4 A. Energize the aircraft systems: + with the GPU (Refer to TASK. or + with the APU (refer to the Airplane Flight Manual). 160-801), B. NOTE: If the ambient temperature is lower than 0°C (32°F), wait 15 min more. + Disengage the "VOICE RECORDER’ circuit breaker (501FZ) and, using a chronometer (TO-20-310), check that the amber "CVR 1 FAIL" CAS message is displayed after 10 min (# 30 s). + Ifthe amber "CVR 4 FAIL" CAS message is displayed before 10 min (+ 30 s), the RIPS is falled C.
