A. EFFECTIVITY
This Service Bulletin is applicable to:
• F2000EX aircraft with serial numbers 10, 12, 13, 47, 56, 67, 81, 88, 92, 104, 116, 135, 136, 161,

• F2000EX aircraft with serial number 602 (F2000DX),
• F2000EX aircraft with serial numbers 706 through 730 (F2000S).

B. REASON

DASSAULT AVIATION Proprietary Data

On some aircraft in-service, the screw of the slat mechanical stop assembly on slat tracks #6, #7 and
#8 was found loose.
This situation caused some structural damage to the wing front spar and, in a few cases, a puncture in
the fuel cap, leading to fuel leakage. An improper installation of the lockwashers on the screws is
suspected.
The purpose of this Service Bulletin is to verify the proper installation of the screws and to re-install
them if necessary.
C. DESCRIPTION
This Service Bulletin consists in:
• Verifying the tightening of the screw and the proper lockwasher installation at the slat tracks #6,
#7 and #8.
• Replacing and re-installing the screw lockwashers, if needed.

D. COMPLIANCE
If you choose to comply with this Service Bulletin, accomplishment is to be performed during the next
“9M or 440FH” inspection.
E. APPROVAL
The technical content of this document is approved under the authority of DOA nr. EASA.21J.051.
F. LABOR
Estimated labor-hours: Refer to Service Bulletin Commercial Summary.
NOTE: These labor-hours only concern the work described in this Service Bulletin and do not include
other maintenance work that may be performed on this occasion.
