Intelligent Future

Artificial intelligence is intelligent machines that operate the same way as humans do;

they can think, create, operate, and interact having a human program them to work the specific

task. Everyone in the world uses artificial intelligence every day, and some people do not even

realize that they do, using artificial intelligence as Siri, Alexa, NPCs for video games, Auto

correct, even website searching requires Artificial Intelligence. Scientists now want to advance

artificial intelligence, making artificial intelligence more intelligent, more capable of handling

projects and other uses to help humans to complete everyday tasks online. According to

Professor of robotics Jennifer Keating and Educational Initiatives assistant Illah Nourbakhsh

“Rapid progress in AI/machine learning and its central role in our social, economic, and political

culture signals its salience to the next generation of students entering universities.” People could

change the world, making this humanity’s most successful accomplishment if artificial

intelligence is worked around correctly, but also this could be a major problem if our society

does not handle artificial intelligence safely. Artificial intelligence will for sure change the future

in some way, Artificial intelligence could be the best thing to ever happen to humanity, or the

worst thing to happen to humanity, but some scientist and intelligent CEOS have an idea what

could happen if artificial intelligence is expanded

Those who want artificial intelligence to expand think they know all the best outcomes

for the future. The possibilities are endless when it comes to artificial intelligence.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai says, “artificial intelligence is going to have a bigger impact on the

world than some of the most ubiquitous innovations in history” (Clifford). If humanity moves

forward with this, humans can create super intelligent artificial intelligence that will be a

thousand times smarter than any human that has ever lived on this earth. This means people can

have help to solve any problem that people face in the world every day. The use of the internet

will be much simpler with artificial intelligence since they are practically the internet, a cure for

cancer and all other known diseases can be found since artificial intelligence will be so smart,

they can study the diseases or cancer cells to come up with a cure in no time. Humans today

study cancer and well-known diseases in our world today, humans come closer to treatments or

cures for cancer and diseases, but with the help of artificial intelligence with intelligent solutions,

a cure for cancer or a disease can be found within a matter or seconds. With the help of artificial

intelligence, jobs could even open up and create new jobs for people around the world. Said by

Managing Director Wilson H James, Information Officer Paul Daugherty R, and Global Chief

Client Technology Officer Nicola Morini Bianzino. “Artificial intelligence (AI) will create entire

categories of new, uniquely human jobs that will require training”. Many jobs could open up for

jobless people, or help companies in many ways with artificial intelligence since new ideas and

new ways could affect a company. More workers will need to be hired for the process and no one

will have to be jobless since artificial intelligence can help find a way to bring and create jobs for

people all around the world. This could save and bring a bright future for humanity.

The other side of development of artificial intelligence is not so bright at all, and can be

humanity’s last mistake. Taking artificial intelligence to the maximum level can lead to

humanity’s end, not because artificial intelligence is evil, but because humans will be useless to

them. Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk says "The least scary future I can think of is one where

we have at least democratized AI because if one company or small group of people manages to

develop godlike digital superintelligence, they could take over the world.”(Dowd). Once

artificial intelligence reaches above the human intelligence, no one can stop these powerful

intelligent machines, because artificial intelligence will be too powerful to stop or control. This

might even be the extinction of humanity because humans are nothing compared to artificial

intelligence, so humans will just be in the way of what artificial intelligence is doing next. Even

if artificial intelligence is not going to hurt humans or wipe them out, most humans can lose jobs

because of artificial intelligence. This will get to the point where artificial intelligence becomes

too smart and better working for regular workers, and the company would invest in artificial

intelligence to do the company’s job since human workers will be useless compared to artificial

intelligence workers. More jobs may open up when artificial intelligence becomes a major thing,

but before you can even try to apply, artificial intelligence will always be the first and only

choice since they are smarter than any other human being alive. Human are nothing compared

with artificial intelligence, which could make the future a scary thing.

There are many possibilities for artificial intelligence, but the only way to find out which

side is right is to wait and see what the future brings. This could be humanity’s best possible

solution to many world problems, or this could be the end of the human race and a new age for

artificial intelligence. One true outcome that will happen is that Artificial Intelligence will

change the world on how the people on earth live with artificial intelligence, either by helping

solve all the world’s problems and create new jobs for people around the world, or artificial

intelligence will take most of people’s jobs and doom humanity for good. Some things will

definitely change when artificial intelligence is at its maximum power. Truthfully, everyone will

just have to wait and find out if humanity enters a new world of hope, or a world where humans

will have no use.
