1 Title
Standard Operating Procedure for Closed Circuit Television System
2 Objective
The purpose of this SOP is to provide safe and protected environment to the staff and
visitors and also the property against any criminal damage within the factory premises.
3 Scope
This SOP is applicable all staff, visitors and contractors.
4 Responsibility
4.1 It is the responsibility of engineering department for the compliance of the SOP.

6 Procedure
6.1 Ownership of the images
6.1.1 Agror Pharma owns all the images and videos recorded by CCTV
surveillance system.
6.1.2 Access to images and videos is controlled by engineering department
head.
6.1.3 The responsible person processes images and videos in line with the
CCTV SOP and does not permit anyone to view these images or videos
unless the individuals’ role is clearly identified.
7 Overview
7.1 The CCTV system operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
7.2 Equipment used, image quality, camera sitting and locations are appropriate to
ensure that the images are adequate for the purpose for which they are being
collected.
7.3 If there is cause for CCTV to be installed in an area where there would be a
heightened expectation of privacy e.g. rest rooms and change rooms, signs will be
prominently placed to clearly inform individuals of the presence of CCTV
surveillance. Such occasions will only be necessary if there is suspicion of
activity which will be reported to the Police.

7.4 Conversations will not be recorded on any camera. Cameras are solely to monitor
and record the movements and actions of individuals.
7.5 CCTV systems on the premises are serviced on an annual basis.
8 Viewing and Disclosure of CCTV Footage
8.1 Disclosure of images from the CCTV system is controlled and is consistent with
the purpose for which the system was established.
8.2 Permission to view CCTV footage will not be granted to anyone whose role is not
explicitly identified in this procedure.
8.3 Urgent requests will be processed as soon as possible i.e. where there is
immediate risk to health and safety or where a crime has been suspected.
8.4 Requests should include:
8.4.1 Date and time the images were recorded
8.4.2 Information to identify the individual, if necessary
8.4.3 Location of the camera, if known
8.5 CCTV recordings will be viewed in a closed area by the appointed personnel only
unless they explicitly give permission for another individual to be there, however
their presence must be in relation to the content of the images e.g. to identify an
individual.
9 Law Enforcement
9.1 Should the firm receive a request from any law enforcement agency, the
responsible person may review and release the CCTV images where the content
may assist with detection/prevention of a crime/terrorism.
10 Retention and Disposal
10.1 All recorded CCTV images will be retained for a maximum of 30 days unless the
company is made known of images which may assist with an investigation of an
incident/crime. In such cases, the company will extract the relevant footage and
retain until the investigation and any subsequent appeals are complete after which
it will be securely disposed off.
