It takes a lot of planning, preparation, and time to put together an event like the Holiday Mash-
up. I would like to thank all my teachers, staff, and parent volunteers for the hard work and time
which they put in to make the night fabulous for our community!

I would also like to thank my DMC Leadership Students, they too worked hard on helping put
together the Holiday Mash-up!

CCSD Parent Survey Open for 2 Final Weeks: Please help us by completing the CCSD Parent Survey for David Cox
Elementary School. The survey can be found at http://www.ccsd.net/survey. It only takes a few minutes and the
more parents we have that complete the survey, the more our school earns on our state performance report. Every point counts
for our Star Rating. As of last Friday, we’ve only had 288 out of 945 parents complete the survey. It doesn’t have to be one
parent per household, if a parent and/or grandparent is listed under Infinite Campus then they can take the survey to help our
school. *We will be coming around during dismissal to ask parents to complete the survey on iPads next week.

Second Grade Musical Performance: Our second grade students will have their annual musical performance this Friday,
12/14, in the MP Room. There is limited space as it will be performed for the parents and school. There are two performances
one at 9:30 am and the other at 2:15 pm. *Please do not sit in seats which are labeled for VIP seating. Those benches have
been purchased by families for all DMC events.
