‘We were privileged to represent Jacob Anderson concerning the accusation in Waco.
In our combined 70 years of criminal law practice, we have never encountered a case with more
misrepresentations concerning what actually occurred
This incident occurred in February of 2016 at a fraternity social event. There were more than 300
Baylor students in attendance. Mr. Anderson and this girl were seen multiple times during the
evening kissing passionately, groping and grinding in the middle of the party. This occurred in
close proximity to more than 100 other students. One witness described this girl as “stalking” Mr.
Anderson.
Shortly after the incident, this girl was seen by two friends who described her as “calm and
controlled” and that she appeared as “if nothing had happened.” She also made statements
suggesting that what had occurred was consensual.
She later claimed she was “drugged” which is contrary to her blood test results. She also claimed
that she was intoxicated to the point of not having control. ‘That would be contrary to her blood
alcohol level of .12 which was minimally over the legal limit for driving while intoxicated.
She even stated to the police investigator that she had “given up alcohol for lent” but she was
observed to be drinking at another social event earlier that evening. Everything she drank that
evening was of her own volition.
For the very first time, this girl claimed in August of 2018 that she had been “choked” and “left
for dead.” She failed to ever report that to law enforcement or medical personnel who interviewed
her the night this purportedly occurred. She never reported those fabrications for 2 % years. She
is also seen grinning from ear to ear with no evidence of injury in a hospital photograph taken I %
hours after the alleged incident.
‘There was no DNA evidence linking Mr. Anderson to this incident.
The recent criticism of Judge Strother and the Assistant District Attomey, Ms, LaBorde is
complete unfounded based on the facts and the truth.
