1. The financial sustainability of Night Food Markets in Tacloban
2. The financial impact of the Industry to the community where it operates and to the City of Tacloban
3. Production and/or Procurement process of Night Food Products;
i. Grilled Meat on Sticks Variety
ii. Finger Foods and Drinking Compliments (mani and etc)
On Accounting System:
a. How do each stalls account for their earnings/(loses) in day to day operation?
b. The accounting practices employed by operators, workers and distributors.
On Socio-Cultural-Economic Benefits:
a. What is the social impact of the industry to Taclobanons?
b. What are cultural aspects that the industry touches?
c. What are economic benefits derived by shareholders?
Overall:
a. The problems and threats that the industry is facing currently.
b. The marketing strategy, innovations and future-related concerns
Data- Gathering Concerns:
- Data will be gathered through purposive sampling, non-probability sampling technique meaning based
on our judgment.
- We need to find a governing body that oversee this type of industry to ask for recommendation on
what part of Tacloban we need to focus. - DTI
A. Locale:
a. City of Tacloban not exclusive in downtown area
b. Places where the industry is present regardless of number of participants
B. Sample Selection:
a. At most 6 respondents for every category/place.
i. 5- Magsaysay
ii. 5- Back of Mcdo
iii. 4- Gaisano
iv. 6- Non-Stationary Vendors at Night – parks and near social places
