Sprinkler
Općenito jedan od najrasprostranjenijih sustava
za automatsko gašenje požara raspršenom
vodom. Najviše se primjenjuje na putničkim
brodovima. Specifični elementi sustava su
sprinkler mlaznice i sprinkler ventilske stanice,
čija konstrukcija istovremeno omogućuje dojavu i
gašenje požara. Staklena ampula puca kod
povišene temperature, te otvara put vodi za
gašenje prema raspršivaču. Dojavu požara
omogućuje narušena ravnoteža pritisaka do koje
dolazi kod aktiviranja. U prostorima gdje nema
opasnosti od smrzavanja primjenjuje se mokri
sustav u kojemu je u cjevovodima stalno voda
pod tlakom. Gdje postoji mogućnost smrzavanja
koristi se suhi sustav koji u pripravnom stanju
sadrži komprimirani zrak, a voda za gašenje
nadolazi u kratko vrijeme nakon aktiviranja.
Drencher, water mist
Sustavi za gašenje raspršenom vodom, sa
otvorenim mlaznicama. Aktiviranje gašenja se
postiže otvaranjem odgovarajućeg zonskog
ventila, ručno ili pritiskom tastera, te startom
pumpe.
Drencher radi na nižim pritiscima, do 10 bar, sa
otvorenim sprinkler mlaznicama različitih
koeficijenata protoka. Najčešće se primjenjuje za
zaštitu teretnih prostora.
Water mist sustavi rade na pritisku do 16 bar, sa
mlaznicama koje daju veoma fino raspršeni mlaz
stožastog oblika. Najčešće se primjenjuju kao
lokalni sustavi za zaštitu pojedinih uređaja.
Sprinkler
In generally one of the most applicable systems
for fire extinguishing, by using of the water spay.
Mostly used on the passenger ships. The specific
elements of the system are the sprinkler nozzles,
and the sprinkler alarm valve stations, which are
constructed in a way to enable the fire detection
and fire extinguishing at the same time. Working
principle is based on the glass bulb, which cracks
at the certain increased temperature, and opens
the way of water flow to the deflector. The
disturbance of the pressure balance during the
activation enables also the fire detection signal.
The wet pipe system with water under the
pressure in the piping is used in spaces where is
no danger of freezing. Where it is, the dry pipe
system is in application, with the compressed air
in piping in the ready condition, and the water
coming in the short time after the system
activation.
Drencher, water mist
Extinguishing systems with sprayed water, with
the open nozzles. Activation principle is based on
the opening of the adequate zone valve, manually
or by the push-button, and by starting the pump.
Drencher systems are working on the lower
pressures, up to 10 bar, using the open type
sprinkler nozzles with various flow rate factors.
Mostly used for protection of cargo spaces.
Water mist systems are working on the pressures
up to 16 bar, with the very fine water spray
nozzles with cone form water yet. Mostly used as
the local systems for protection of the particular
devices.
