Chapter 1 - Introduction

E veryday BILLIONS of people wake up and go to sleep living a life full of stress.
Whether it is stress caused by lack of finances, relationships, poor health,
environment and jobs that they hate or can't secure. It CAN be replaced with an
abundance of love, compassion, and wealth BUT first you need to change the way your
mind works with the 5 Keys of Resetting Your Life.

Now you cannot change the events/things/or people in your life 100% of the time but you
can change and evolve the way that you react to these events/things/ and people.

In this short E book I will outline and explain step by step how I have changed my life, and
thousands of other lives directly and even more indirectly.

See, I used to be stressed just like almost EVERYONE else that I knew (and MAYBE you
know) in my life. I hated my job, I hated school, and I used to get panic attacks almost
daily. Insomnia was a regular occurrence in my life, and I used to get sick ALL THE TIME
from the stress lowering my immunity.

One night I had enough! I decided to take my life into my own hands and start with my
evolution. I changed everything about my life in mere weeks and I haven't looked back
ever since. Now don't get me wrong it wasn't by any stretch of the imagination EASY, BUT
it was simple as soon as I mapped out the blueprint of what I needed to do and dove right
in to the journey of living the life of my dreams.

At the time I was doing nursing rotations on the cancer floor and I HATED everything
about it except talking to patients and giving them some comfort in their last days. But I
was also about 10 classes into my nutrition degree as well and I had a deep interest in
eating habits and where our culture is lacking in nutritional education. I decided I do not
want to work as a Nurse and have “Security”, so I decided to leave Nursing school.

I proceeded to get a degree in Holistic Nutrition and opened my own Mixed Martial Arts
studio. The path I chose was not easy by any stretch of the imagination BUT it was fulfilling
and I want to share with you the steps I took along the way to lead this incredible life.

In the following chapters I will VERY simply outline the Blueprint of Resetting YOUR Life
in 5 Simple(But not always easy) Steps. If YOU are the type of person that wants to lead
an incredible and fulfilling life while being able to overcome obstacles that come with

Chapter 2 - Food and Hydration.

I will keep this chapter VERY simple and to the point. I will tell you which foods you need
to eat more of and why.

Make sure you Eat more Raw Fruits and Vegetables that come from an organic or local
food source. Here are some foods DIRECTLY linked to improved moods! This change in
eating habits will not only increase your mood but also keep your weight healthy and body
feeling great!

Bananas
In addition to being an excellent source of potassium (which research studies have found
enhances brain function), bananas are high in B6, a vitamin that increases serotonin and
norepinephrine levels. Bananas also provide the mood-regulating relaxant tryptophan, an
amino acid responsible for your lovely Thanksgiving turkey dinner afterglow.

Broccoli
Broccoli boasts impressive levels of folic acid, an entity required for a variety of physical
functions, including cell development, the production of healthy red cells and mood
regulation.. According to Livestrong.com, "fruits and veggies that contain folic acid can
help to enhance serotonin levels and improve mood." If an individual lacks folic acid, signs
can range from diarrhea and a swollen tongue to headaches and mental depression.

Spinach
Like broccoli, spinach (and most leafy veggies) contains a substantial dosage of folic acid.
Spinach is also a remarkable source of the mineral magnesium, a natural anxiety
combatant. Without enough magnesium in your diet plan, you might find it tough to focus
in addition to being fatigued and irritable.

Olives
Not all fats are created equal. Olives include "healthy" fats, which are responsible for
lower stress and anxiety and anger levels. And the useful culinary ingredient olive oil
offers the exact same advantages when eaten cold, as in salad dressings, or lightly heated
below 120 degrees. Other fats are better for high heat food preparation.

Berries
Deep colored vegetables like berries are steeped in complex carbs, which provide sugar
to the blood. This translates to greater body energy and raised brain activity-- combating
depression and minimizing irritability.

Sweet potatoes
Like their even more conventional spud counterparts, sweet potatoes are complex carbs.
Carbohydrates tend to have a calming affect on the human body, enhancing serotonin
levels.

Fresh fruits and veggies hydrate and stimulate while being fantastic sources of

Healthy Fats

Why?

How?
Eat plant-based foods like walnuts, flaxseed, hemp seed oil, coconut oil, along with two

Chapter 3 - Exercise

Why?
One of the main reasons why exercise is such a powerful medication for persistent illness
is due to the fact that it enhances your insulin and leptin receptor sensitivity. Normalizing
your glucose, insulin, and leptin levels will certainly have an advantageous effect on
virtually every disease state you can ever obtain.

However exercise likewise promotes the release of mood-boosting brain chemicals that
help fight depression, and more superficially, it can go a long means toward enhancing
your skin; clearing acne and warding off indications of early aging.

How is it that physical movement can achieve such impacts? It's simple to forget that your

Meditation
Meditation has been used in its many forms for thousands of years by many different
civilizations in both the East and West. Stress is one of the main causes of inflammation
in the body, and meditation is the #1 way to get rid of stress and keep it away. If you build
your meditation practice as a daily habit, you will see improvement.

How?

Meditation #1
There are many different ways to meditate, but if you are just getting into your practice,
here is a very simple and widely used method:
Sit or lie down, close your eyes and begin to focus on your breath. You may want to take
some deep breaths in and out. You can try breathing in for three seconds (one Mississippi,
two Mississippi, three Mississippi). Just relax and keep focusing on your breath. Try to
keep your head clear and don’t pay any attention to the thoughts that come to mind - just
let them float by. If you find yourself getting caught up with a specific thought, just go
back to focusing on your breath and don’t get angry or upset. Sometimes it can be quite
comical to see just how easily we can become completely involved in a thought that really
serves no purpose. Do this for about 15 minutes (or longer if you wish).
Try this meditation for seven days and see how you feel...

Meditation #2 Century Meditation


Turn on nature sounds(optional)Sit down in a comfortable cross legged position and close
your eyes. Make sure nothing is going to disturb you for the next 20 minutes or so. You
may want to take some deep breaths in and out. You can try breathing in for three
seconds and Breathing out for three seconds.

Just relax and keep focusing on your breath. Now every time you breath in and breath out
you will count a number in your head. Starting from 1 and ending in 100. You have to stay
focused on counting those numbers and if you lose track of your count you have to start
all over until you finish and get to 100.

Don't Judge yourself during or after meditation. There is no wrong or right outcome. Just
treat meditation as a daily treat instead of a daily chore and you will flourish. Namaste.

Chapter 6 - Building up your Action Taking Muscle

Why?
One of the biggest game changers in my life has been consistent goal setting and
implementing. Action taking is a muscle in your mind and just like the muscles on your
physical body it needs to be consistently exercised and put to use. Everything that is done
in your life needs to be done consciously and OFF of autopilot.

The key to building up this Action taking muscle just like any other muscle is a gradual
progression of incrementally increasing the difficulty of the focus needed to complete
each action step.

How?
These are some of the tools that I have used to build up my own action muscles and the
action muscles of my clients as well.

What is your goal? Write down your main goal that you want to achieve whether it be
to lose 100 lbs, meet the love of your life, make a million dollars, or win a world title. It
can be anything... But it needs to be written down and kept with you at all times. You can
even hire a graphic designer or make a collage of what it would look like, and put it
everywhere you usually look. For example your bathroom mirror, the ceiling above your
bed, your workstation, in your wallet, on the background of your phone screen, your
screensaver on your pc or laptop or ANYWHERE else you are going to see it and read it.

Write it down! Our human mind isn't made to keep more than a couple of tasks in our
mind at the same time. So as you add new tasks or ideas into your head the old ones seem
to disappear. Start a journal and just start writing everyday. It can just be a few words, or
a hundred pages... But make sure that you are consistent and keep it with you at all times.
You can write about your feelings, an event that happened, a business idea, something
you want to say to someone, etc. It is YOUR journal so write whatever YOU want. Make
sure you reread it regularly, like the first or last day of each month.

Create a Plan! The great Zig Ziglar used to say “You were born to win, but to be a winner,
you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win". Now it is time to create a
plan... It doesn't have to be “a perfect plan”, because there is no such thing...It is just
important that you create a plan and start taking action RIGHT AWAY. Your plan can have
1000, 100, or even 10 action steps to bring you closer to your goal, as long as it has more
than 1. Start with the easy ones and build momentum as you go along.

Take 1 step each day! Now that you have your MAIN goal, you are writing ideas down
daily, and you created an action plan. It is time to TAKE ACTION. Everyday you need to
take at least 1 action step to get you closer to your goal and you HAVE to be consistent in
doing so daily.

Watch What You Think! Émile Coué, a French psychologist of the 20th century, developed
a self-help-system based on autosuggestion. He is probably most famous for his mantra-
like autosuggestion, “Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better.”

He recognized something that is common knowledge today: that our unconscious self-
talk and thinking influences our feelings, behavior, health, relationships and every
aspect of life. The patients he gave this mantra to work with had stunning results in all
areas of their lives; and this is probably one of the main reasons why this affirmation has
withstood the test of time.

Autosuggestions or mantras can be used to help you become – every day, in every way
– better, stronger, healthier, steadier, wiser, happier, younger, more confident, more
disciplined, more fulfilled, more abundant, more enlightened, more energetic, more
even-minded, and more everything!

This has been the one the biggest secrets I have been using on myself and my clients for
many years and boy has it paid off! Autosuggestions take time to work so have patients
and be consistent with your efforts.

Some tips for a daily autosuggestions practice:

1. Always repeat your affirmation. Repeat it with belief, feeling and emotion, If you
don't repeat it with emotion then it will not produce results.
2. Make your affirmations in the present tense such as "I AM happy" or "I AM rich".
3. Repeat your affirmations in the morning after awaking and at night prior to sleep
but also repeat them at noon and afternoon.
4. Repeat them for 5-10 minutes slowly, lovingly and with emotion.

Chapter 7 : The BluePrint

It’s not easy to implement everything at once. Shoot, its not even easy to implement one
thing at a time! But as all great things that you can do for your life, this will take some
time and effort to turn your dreams into a reality.

One of my greatest tools that I have ever learned or used has been the 30 day challenge.
Every 30 days I set myself on a journey to learn or incorporate a new skill or activity into
my life.

It only takes a month to break bad habits, implement new routines and change your life
for the better.

Some of the challenges that can be made from this Blueprint:


1. Give up alcohol for a month.
2. Spend five minutes focusing on your breath every day.
3. Drink 10+ glasses of water a day
4. Implement all 7 mood increasing foods a day
5. Eat a big raw salad
6. Meditation for 5-30 minutes
7. Do autosuggestions 1-3x a day
8. Write down your thoughts daily
9. Exercise for 5-40 minutes
10. Go for a 15 minute run
11. Do 50 sit ups
12. Do a 30 second-2 minute plank
13. Keep a gratitude list for 30 days

14. Ditch social media sites for 30 days, or limit yourself to a few minutes a day.

How to learn these tools

5 tactics that have helped me be well on my path to mastery of new tools.

1. Be consistent- Commit to a time everyday to take on a new habit and stick to it.
Make this a routine especially if you are going to be implementing more than 1 tool.
Morning routines are my favorite because they help you set the pace for the whole day
with a HUGE positive step.

2. Be gentle with yourself


• If you regress or fall off the bandwagon don’t get down on yourself with negative
self talk.
• Just acknowledge you fell off the wagon and get back on right away.
• You don’t have to suffer in learning a new tool, be gentle with yourself and make
your new tool learning fun and easy!

3. Gradual Progression- Set realistic goals for yourself when starting a new habit. Don’t
try to meditate for 1 hour on your first try because you are just setting yourself up for
failure.
Always set yourself up for success.

A successful system I use with my clients is:


Do a 2 min meditation everyday for the first 30 days. (morning)
Do a 5 min mediation everyday for the 2nd 30 days. (morning)
Do 2 x 5 min meditations everyday of the 3rd 30 days. (morning/evening)

4. Keep a journal- Write down your progress so that 1 year from now you can see where
you started and where you are now. A unique journal we love to use is called a Freedom
Planner

5. What is your reason for learning this new tool- Always write down the reason for
learning a new tool and make it very specific.
For example if you are starting to meditate you can write down:

eg. I am starting a meditation practice so that I can improve my relationship with my


family and be comfortable in situations that I used to think were stressful.
I am starting to exercise so that I can keep up with my grandkids with no pain.

Always start your exercises with a 5-10 minute warm up just to get the blood flowing.
Step 1: Chose a an exercise to do for the routine that you can control the speed with no
risk of injury.
For example: My favorite is the stationary cycle.
Step 2: Program your timer to 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest. (Best to have
your partner tell you when to stop and go, so you can focus on your exercise)
Step 3: Start! You want to sprint for 20 seconds and rest for 10 seconds.
Welcome to the longest 20 seconds of your life!
I would recommend doing 1-3 different exercises per week at 1x per day to start with.
These tools have worked amazing for myself and everyone on my team to improve every
aspect of our lives including our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health and I
