Notes:
• The navigation tree hierarchy displays the elements of the selected discovered service including:
• Sites
• Termination Point – 151.98.79.163-(Port 1/1) and 151.98.79.164-(Port 1/1) in the example.

• Alarm indicators are displayed at each lever of the navigation tree hierarchy. In the example, each termination
point is displaying an alarm indicator. Additional information about the alarm can be displayed by clicking the
Faults tap on the properties screens.

• The properties for all levels of the service navigation tree structure can be displayed for the main screen by
selecting the tabs or by selecting one of the elements of the service navigation tree structure (as shown in the
following slides).

• The Topology View displays a map of the discovered service with a graphical interpretation of the service
elements that are displayed in the service navigation tree hierarchy.

• Alarm conditions are displayed on the map using colors on the NE icons and the connectors. These alarm
conditions match the alarm color displays on the service navigation tree elements.

• Double clicking on any of the service topology map icons, opens the associated property screens (displayed on
previous slides). Clicking on the Faults tap will display alarm information of the affected icon.
