Novatec FlexNet Series controls offer fast, secure, plug-
and-play installation using pre-terminated cable sets to in-
terconnect I/O blocks assigned to each component in the
system. Installation is fast and simple, yet the system has
the sophistication to handle any conveying system need.
The operator interface panel interconnects with all devices

CONTROLS
in the system using a single run of DeviceNet distributed
I/O cables to Input/Output Blocks. Receivers, valves, and
vacuum pumps all connect to their respective I/O blocks
with simple interconnecting cable sets. I/O Blocks pro-
vide error-proof communications with the control and may
be readily added or changed as system needs change. An
optional, remote HMI may also be added to allow system
monitoring and control at two or more locations.

FlexNet PLC-driven Touch Screen
…provides an extremely intuitive display of all convey-
ing functions through the use of highly graphic and
colorful interactive icons, personalized descriptive text
and effective alarm messages. Changes to operating
parameters can be made easily, with assignable lev-
els of security, on intuitive input screens with instant
feedback of accepted changes and ultra logical screen
navigation.

Ethernet Connects FlexNet to the World

FlexNet controls can be accessed via the web by any PC,
anywhere in the world. Actual FlexNet screens are displayed on the PC
monitor and changes can be made easily with the click of a mouse.
Security levels and access are selectable to prevent unauthorized
viewing or changes. View alarm logs, program material changes, monitor
pump run life… all on line, from anywhere and with the help of super intui-
tive graphics and self-explanatory icons. In addition,
when programmed to do so, FlexNet can automati-
cally email system alarms to any email account on
a PC, Blackberry® or iPhone.
Allen-Bradley Distributed I/O Controls
Novatec also provides MCS-600 Series distributed
I/O controls based on the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell plat-
form. We use AB CompactLogix PLC and PanelView
Plus terminals. Features similar to FlexNet. Inquire
