Detailed Lesson Plan in Mathematics 3

I. OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:
a. identify the time;
b. convert time measure from minutes to hours and vice versa;
c. work accurately and cooperatively.

II. SUBJECT MATTER: Converting Time Measure involving Minutes to Hours and Vice Versa
Reference: Mathematics 3 (Kagamitan ng Mag-aaral Sinugbuanong Binisaya)

1. Energizer
- Before we go on to our lesson this
morning, we will have first an energizer.
- Everybody please stand.

2. Review
- Class, what was our last topic in - Converting seconds to minutes and
Mathematics? vice versa.
- To test if you understand our last lesson I
have here an activity. I need 3 participants
in each group.

1. 240 seconds=_____ minutes.

2. 9 minutes=_______ seconds.

3. 5 minutes=______ seconds.

you go to 10 where the finish is. All you
have to do to get to the finish line is to
listen carefully, sit properly and be
attentive.

- To convert minutes to hours, divide the


number of minutes by 60.

- Your answer is correct. 4hrs.
