COMPUTER-AIDED INSTRUCTION (CAI)

SHORT DESCRIPTION

The following is the brief description on how to use/manipulate the Computer-Aided Instruction
(CAI). The software was developed by the Science Education Institute of the Department of Science and
Technology (SEI-DoST), and was introduced previously by the undersigned in Bolton Elementary School.
Currently, as an School ICT coordinator, he is now in Magallanes Elementary School and determined to
continue and effectiveness of Computer-Aided Instruction, as evidenced by the approved training and
participated by teachers of the same.
a.) INSTALL Flash Player 8:
for Windows:
- open [cd drive]:\installers\flashplayer9_windows.exe
for Linux:
- open [cd drive]:\installers\flashplayer9_linux.tar.gz

b.) Restart your computer after you install flash player

c.) To open Courseware Menu:

- open [cd drive]:\mainMenu.,exe

d.) there are four (4) options in main menu:

- Modules (to view the list of Grade Levels)
- Trailer (to view the Courseware Trailer)
- PC Requirements (to view required PC Specifications)
- Installation (to view Installation Instructions)
- Acknowledgements (to view Acknowledgements)

Note: If you are in the fullscreen mode, to restore into window based application just press "esc".
