ADMISSION NOTICE (Fall Semester 2018-2019)

(MS/M.Phil/ /Ph.D PROGRAM) (Readvertisement)

Applications are invited on the prescribed Forms available on the University website for admission in
MS/M.Phil/Ph.D program at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar

S. NO PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

1. MS Computer Science Minimum CGPA should be 2.5 (Semester System) or Second Division (Annual System)
from a recognized University.
 BS (CS) 4 Years Degree (Min 132 Credit Hours).
 Relevant Masters’ Degree or 4-year education after intermediate (Min 132 Credit
Hours).
Field of Specialization
 Semantic Web
 Algorithms
 Multi-Agent system

2. M.Phil Mathematics Minimum CGPA should be 2.5 (Semester System) or Second Division (Annual System)
from a recognized University.
 Relevant Masters’ Degree or 4-year education after intermediate (Min 132
Credit Hours).

3. M.Phil Political Science Minimum CGPA should be 2.5 (Semester System) or Second Division (Annual System)
from a recognized University.
 Relevant Masters’ degree or 4-year education after intermediate (Min 132
Credit Hours).

4. Ph.D Psychology Relevant M.Phil Degree with minimum CGPA 3.0 from any HEC recognized
university/Institution

 Specialization will be offered as per the availability of faculty.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
i. Candidates employed in any government or semi government institution/ organization must submit NOC within 30
days of initial selection failing which the selection will be deemed as cancelled.
ii. Qualifying General Department test for M.Phil program and GRE Subject for Ph.D program is mandatory.
iii. Forms are available on the University website. www.sbbwu.edu.pk
iv. The amount of Rs. 1800/- is to be deposited in the UBL Bank Naz Cinema Branch opposite to Masjid Mahabat
Khan, Asamai Road or UBL University Branch Main Campus, Larama, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women
University Peshawar and the admission slip is to be attached with the form.
v. Application form duly filled in and supported by the attested copies of Educational Certificates/Degrees shall
be submitted directly to the Examinations Section, Main Campus, Larama, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women
University Peshawar by Thursday, 27th December, 2018.
vi. Incomplete and late submitted Application form will not be entertained.
vii. Only Short listed candidates will be called for interview.
IMPORTANT: The University reserves the right to freeze any programmes due to unavoidable circumstances. The
University may also modify the criteria governing programmes or to make necessary amendments in the programmes of
studies where deemed necessary.
