Assignment
• A customer needs a new electric circuit to drive
electrical motors. It has been decided to buy this
assembly from a subcontractor.
• Apply the appropriate Six Sigma tools to develop a
circuit that controls the motor speed (rpm).
• Your goal is to design a circuit that produces a
propeller rpm that meets the following customer
requirements:
• Constant rpm → minimized variation
• Slow rpm → the slower the better
• You have a customer meeting to present your results in
a power point presentation. The customer will than
decide which subcontractor get the contract.
• The meeting is scheduled for Friday at 10:00 o’clock.
