Survey Camp 2018 for B.E.

Second Year (Civil) students to be held from 4th –

14th June, 2018 at Jungle Livinn Camps & Retreats, Chail

Dear Students,
You are required to follow following instructions during survey camp to be held at
Jungle Livinn Camps & Retreats, Chail:
 All students are required to report for survey camp on 4th June, 2018 before 5.00 P.M.
at Jungle Livinn Camps & Retreats, V&PO Janedghat, Shimla Hills, Chail-Kufri
Road, H.P.
 Students who report later than June 4 will not be allowed to attend the camp.
 All students are required to bring the following items for survey work:
 Surveying book/s
 Exercise Copy (Rough note book for calculations)
 Instrument Box (containing Drawing Pencils, Drawing instruments
like scale, compass, Protractor etc. that you use for drawing on sheet
in Plane Table Survey)
 Drawing Instruments (as stated above)
 Scientific Calculator
 Umbrella
 Torch
 Students are advised, in addition to their normal luggage, to carry with them:
 Woolen Clothes
 Sports Shoes
 Students will not be allowed in Survey Area in slippers or sandals; you must strictly
wear sports shoes at all times during work hours.
 No personal vehicle will be allowed during survey camp.
 Students can’t stay outside the camp premises during survey camp.
 No guests or relatives are allowed to stay with the student.
 Smoking /Drinking is strictly prohibited during the camp.
 All the students are required to maintain discipline and follow the instruction of
teachers during survey camp.
 Student suffering with any chronic disease or having any other medical problem, is
advised to consult the doctor and contact the camp incharge (with relevant medical
documents, if any) before leaving for camp.

Please note that any indiscipline, during the survey camp, will
lead to expulsion from survey camp. No claims for Refund of
Camp Fee will be entertained in such case.
