Teacher has the highest frequency, which has 9 responses, this is

interpreted as the most factors that affect or give student anxiety during
examination. Students have the lowest frequency which has 32

responses, there could be interpreted as less affected. Moreover, subject

and parent can either be the factors that affect or give anxiety of the

students during examination.

The most contributory factors that caused anxiety during

The students manage their anxiety during examinations by making

it sure that they are more prepared upon taking their examination. They

should learn to value the importance of preparedness. In that way, they

can feel less pressured on their part which could later lead them not to

be stress.

Being positive minded is also one way of focusing in an

examination that will help overcome the occurrence of anxiety. This will

boost your confidence in remembering and comprehending without the

worries and fears that you will fail as long as you did your best.

The significant difference between anxiety and academic

performance the statistical treatment of the significant difference

between anxiety and the academic performance of the pupils and using

one way annova to get the variance of the two variables, anxiety and

academic performance gives o.80 which is above the alpha value of

0.496.
Nevertheless, anxiety and academic performance has no significant

difference. This only means that anxiety can affect the students’

academic performance.

The significant difference between anxiety and academic

performance according to sex was identified by using two-way Annova.

The data reveals that 0.983 as the f value is higher than the tabular

value of 0.323 at alpha 0.05, which can be interpreted as no significant.

Moreover, anxiety and academic performance has no significant

difference when sex is considered. That is why anxiety still can affect the

academic performance of students considering their sex – as male and
