What are the various Panaya Projects in FC?
The various Panaya projects we use for Regression Test Acceleration:

TrainingProject: Please feel free to play

around/experiment in this project by creating your
own folder.
GSS RT Core: Projects where we perform the
Recording of scripts, and Convert them to Quick
Tests, and always keep the latest Quick Test versions.
SUMMIT: This is the actual RT project that we would use in March 2018. Always, the most recent version of 3
Quick Tests is imported to this project as part of RT Preparation. The Business KUs proceed with RT in this project.
More details about each project in the next slides..
GSS RT Core project
GSS RT Core: In this project, we have 2 kinds of cycles for
each Business Group:

1. Record – The record cycle always has Simple Tests

imported directly from your excels.
As Business KUs, you use these Simple Tests to RECORD your
business transactions step-by-step.

Once completely Recorded, by Right clicking on the Simple

test, you CONVERT TO A QUICK TEST, and store the final
Quick test in the Playback cycle.

2. Playback – The playback cycle always has Quick Tests,

which can be run with the same data or different data. But,
4
for actual RT, the Quick Tests from GSS RT Core (Playback
cycle) are imported to actual SUMMIT execution project.
SUMMIT project
SUMMIT is the actual RT execution project that we would use
in March RT (2018).

The Panaya consultant will import Quick Tests from previous RT2
cycle (eg. T12_RT2) from SUMMIT and will also import any new
test cases that were recorded by Business KUs in the GSS RT
Core (Playback cycle).

Preparation of Master Data – The Business KUs need to create

their own MD in SAP, and create/change Data Sets (only if
required) in the scripts in T13_RT2 cycle, under their respective
BG folder.

In any cycle eg. T13_RT2, folders are organized in the form of

Business Group -> Opco - > Stream, as shown below:
