Mudguard rubbing with SOP No: 27

Rear Mudguard Rubbing with tyre SOP for field


correction
to or copied by anyone without the written approval of RE

1. Remove the mudguard assembly, and ensure whether rubbing happened on bolt & mudguard
or either one

2. If rubbing observed on bolt,


a. Replace hex M6 bolt(147617) with M6 CSK screw (594660)-All 6 screws

b. Insert 3mm washer x 1no (586056) between the boss on the frame (LH) &Mudguard
assembly top mounting boss (LH)

3. If rubbing observed on mudguard,

a. Replace hex M6 bolt(147617) with M6 CSK screw (594660)-All 6 screws

b. Insert 3mm washer x 2-3nos (586056) between frame(LH) &Mudguard assembly top
to or copied by anyone without the written approval of RE

mounting boss (LH)

3mm washer x 2nos (586056) 3mm washer x 3nos (586056)

4. If rubbing still exists, please check the sareeguard (LH) & mudguard carrier (RH) top
mounting boss is in-line on mudguard sub assembly .

NOT OK OK

Sareeguard (LH) & mudguard carrier(RH) not inline in above picture. At this condition
replace LH & RH Stay together or replace either one to have the both stays in-line to each
other

a. Replace LH & RH Stay together or replace either one to have the both stays in-line
to each other and check for rubbing.

5. If still rubbing observed change the entire mudguard assembly

Note** - Ensure wheel alignment & Wobbling
