1 SCOPE

1 SCOPE

This document describe the storage, the water curing and the loading of ventilation shaft segment.

3 OPERATING SEQUENCE

3.1 Storage

Products are taken from the exit trolley with the specific lifting tool hanged from gantry crane. Product are
only moved from the lifting device of the product.
Product is then hanged by the turning anchors, and tilted on the edge.
Product is then hanged by the final lifting anchor and stocked on woods.
Products are stored on one unique layer.
Products which need major repair have to be firstly water curred and will be repairedd after. So they are
stocked on the stockyard on a specific area, to separate "good" and "to repair" products.

3.1 Water curing

Product needs a water curing to avoid cracks before delivery.

As soons as the product is in position on the stockyard, it is moistened.
Then it is covered with burlap sheets, and moistened with automatic sprinklers.
The rate of spraying water of which is adjusted as often as needed in order to have a good moisturizing of
products and keep the burlap continuously wet.
In order to complete the effects of this sprinkling installation, an operator, by shift, will be assigned in order
to moisturize manually the burlap.
The water curing is done for 7 days after day of casting.

3 OPERATING SEQUENCE

3.3 Loading

Products shall be loaded to be delivered to site if all under mentioned points are completed :

- The 7 days water curing has been achieved.

- Concrete compressive strength has achieved 45Mpa measured on cubes.
- Product check list is complete and approved
- Cage inspection report, concrete cover report and product dimension report are complete and approved,
and are attached to the check list.
- All repair note or Non conformity report concerning to the product are closed and approved.

Products are loaded with the gantry crane and delivered according to the requirements of the project's
delivery program.
Trailers are equiped with specific support for the transportation of service gallery.
Trailers are the responsability of the client.
