Background: The use of personal protective equipment at the nurses still

Research methods : This study design using the Correlation research. Samples
were taken using total sampling with a sample of 33 respondents.
Research result: Based on the analysis of statistical test by Spearman Rank
Correlation method (Rho) in getting P value = 0.000 with a significant level of α =
0.05, so as the result of 0.000 <0.05, which means that H1 is accepted showed a
significant and meaningful relationship between knowledge with compliance IIIA
level students in the use of PPE (gloves) to prevent the risk of Hais.
Conclusion: There is a relationship between a Knowledge Level Compliance
With Students In The use of PPE (Gloves) To Prevent Risk Hais In Space
Inpatient Hospital Dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangkaraya. Suggestion: to health
workers to attend to back in compliance in the use of personal protective
equipment, especially gloves when doing any medical treatment.
