youtu.be/OOsqkQytHOs. Accessed 1 Feb. 2019. The authors of this video are Mitchell
Moffit and Gregory Brown, they’re credible because in the description of the video they
state all their sources and research along with the fact that they are posting on the behalf
of ASAP Science which is a trustworthy channel. The author’s main ideas are that video
games actually help you become smarter. The purpose of this is to inform people but also
to encourage game play to help people with their cognitive and attention skills. The video
isn’t bias because in the beginning they do state a few bad things about video games
under certain circumstances and when the entire video is based on fact. This source is
unique compared to my others by explaining the science behind how video games affect
our brains.
author is unknown however we should still pay attention to what they have to say
because it goes deep into detail about video games, proving their information credible.
The author’s main idea is the aspects of creating a successful first person shooter game.
The purpose of the webpage is to teach beginners the programs and skills required to be
successful. The article is a broad overview because although it helps you get started on
the process it doesn’t go into specifics. The author isn’t bias due to the fact that they dont
state any opinion just facts and recommendations. The author is trying to reach the
general population but mostly people interested in the topic and technology in general.
This source is like my first source by Zoe Quinn, it focuses on the application of my
Dube, Ryan. "How to Make Your Own Free First Person Shooter Games." MakeUseOf, 14 May
2018. The author of the article is Ryan Dube, we should trust what he has to say because
in the beginning of the article he states his experience with first person shooter games and
how he made a career out of it. The author’s main ideas are to introduce the audience to
the world of programming specifically programming first person shooter games. Dube
isn’t bias on the subjects he’s just trying to explain the process of creating a video game.
The author was trying to appeal to inquiring minds and gamers by referring to old school
video games and the production of them. This source is very similar to another one of my
sources called, “Creating a First Person Shooter Game- Tutorial” because it has the same
goal which is to teach the basics of the creation of first person shooter games.
"5 FREE Game Creators." YouTube, uploaded by King Banter, 1 Aug. 2018,
King Banter, he is a credible source because what he says has been verified by my other
sources, comments, and his other videos. The author’s main idea was to explain and show
a quick tutorial of the top 5 free game creator programs. The purpose of the video clip
was to explain which programs are best for creating video games, he goes over specifics
for each program but it’s more of a quick general overview of each software. The creator
is a little biased because he does state that he favors the Unity program which is based on
his opinion and preference with little facts. Banter is trying to teach the audience of
people beginning out in developing video games by stating which programs are the
easiest and best to use for certain video game approaches. This source is stating all my
free options for my final product along with short intros to each program unlike other

was showing a simple way to making a stage of a video game in FPS creator. The
purpose was to help beginners at making FPS games to understand the way the program
works, it does this through a broad overview of the basics in a stage of a game. The video
isn’t bias because it doesn’t go into any specifics; it shows a fast and effective way of
creating a video game. The intended audience of this clip is beginners at game
programming and overall creation. This source is a nice visual to help me understand
how I will be creating the game and help achieve my goal of a successful FPS video

The author is just New Kids Center, it’s a credible source dude to the fact that they have
information on everything you could think of relating to child development. The author’s
main idea is that video games have more of a positive effect than negative on children.
The purpose of the article is to inform parents about the importance of video games due
to popular belief. The authors point of view isn’t bias because although it does focus on
the fact that video games are a positive thing the author still states a few precautions to be
aware of, therefore stating both sides of the argument. The author is trying to inform
parents and teachers so they take advantage of the positive aspects of video games. This
source is one of my sources that focuses on the way my product will help my community,
it helps me understand what’s essential to have and avoid in my game in order to help
children develop.

classroom. Accessed 6 Dec. 2018. The article is written by Danny Mareco who is a

that you actually want and can use.” The author’s main idea is that technology is essential
in the learning environment, in the classroom. The purpose of the article is to make sure
that the next generations are taught correctly to help them in the future, where they will
eventually be exposed to all sorts of technology. The article successfully does this by
going into specifics when necessary, but mostly states a general overview so that
everyone can understand and relate to the facts in their own ways. The work does seem a
little bias due to the fact that the writer is a marketing manager which means his job is to
promote technology and by the fact that he only seems to really state positive technology
facts. The author is trying to reach an audience of teachers and school districts, he does
this by very strongly stating that schools need to change their old school teaching
methods for the children’s sake. This source is very similar to my source by Olsen by
talking about how technology helps children develop, the only big difference being the
targeted audience. This source is very different to my other source by Quinn due to the
fact that this focuses on the mental components of my project while Quinn refers to the
physical part.

solving involved. The purpose of this article is to inform parents that not only is it ok for
their kids to be playing video games but it’s also very influential, it does this in a general
overview with a few specifics. The author does only talk about the good things relating to
video games, however can’t be that biased considering that there is evidence and due to
her own credentials. The intended audience is parents, not only because the article is
literally on parents.com but by the fact that parents are the reason as to why their children
either play or don’t play video games. This source is a little different from my previous
due to the fact that it deals with the application of my product on the community and not
