General
This kit - “LVLD for 9kW systems” - enables installing Low Voltage Load
Disconnector (LVLD) into the 9kW Powercore. This enables having
distribution split into two categories of Priority and Non-priority loads.
During discharge of batteries the voltage decreases it value. At set
“Disconnect Voltage” level the LVLD will disconnect any equipment
connected to non-priority side of distribution to prolong batteries
support when AC mains is not present

The Kit “LVLD” consists of the following components:

Recommended Tools
Standard equipment for use by an authorized electrician.
NOTE: All tools must be insulated:
- Spanner M8 and M6
- Cross-head screwdriver.

WARNING: The system must be completely powered down prior installation

1 Power down the Switch OFF external Mains breaker/fuse
cabinet.
2 Install non priority Install at least 1 non-priority breaker to hold the
breaker negative busbar at its place

Remove negative Remove 2 screws that hold the copper link and
3 busbar link remove it from the system

3 Combine contactor

4 Insert contactor with Insert contactor inside Powercore (note signal

Fix contactor to plastic bracket using M4x18mm
screw (use spacer between contactor and bracket)

Connect contactor with 1. Connect contactor to negative busbar. Use M8

Connect cables to Connect cables to Contactor:
6 contactor and the - Purple cable end with faston to “-“ terminal
system card at contactor
- Red/black cable end with faston to “+”
terminal at contactor

- Connect semi-stripped end of purple cable to


pin #11 at system card (use small
screwdriver to push the pin inside and place
cable. Then release the pin to lock the cable)
- Connect semi-stripped end of red/black cable
to pin #10 at system card.

Please note:
Pin 1 at system card is located at the bottom and pin 12
is the last at the top.

7 Ensure fixing Make sure all fixing is firm and in place


8 Turn on the system Switch ON external Mains breaker/fuse

Smartpack configuration
Smartpack needs to be configured in order to use the installed LVLD.
1. Start Powersuite and connect to Smartpack with USB cable. Log in
with service password

2. In Power Explorer click on Load/Load group 1

3. In newly opened window click on LVLD1.1
4. Enable LVLD1 Activate LVLD and set desired voltage level
5. Set Disconnect and Reconnect Voltage to desired value.
6. Clck Apply and then OK.

Please note that LVLD “Disconnect Voltage must always be higher


than LVBD “Disconnect Voltage”
