Reflection #1

The word that fascinates me the most is the word music. Music is a form of art that is temporal,
you can record it but it will never be the same experience when you witness it in person unlike the
paintings, the paintings will last forever if you preserve it and take good care of it but music, music will
pass that’s why for every musician, every minute of practice is very critical you need to really check if
you’re practicing your piece the right way because if you practice it wrong for a long time, you’ll be
having a hard time correcting it. Music itself for me is a food for the soul, it enhances your ability to
think, your creativity, your self-confidence and your critical thinking. Music has no limitation, it has no
boundary that’s why the word itself fascinates me, and it is one thing that the whole world enjoys. Every
part of the world has its own way of producing music. In my opinion music is a gift of God to his people,
and it is one of his greatest gifts to the world. Some people use music for enjoyment, some uses it for
money, and some uses it for their soul.

Music helps you express your emotions if you cannot express it through words, music is so
special that it connects people even thou they speak in different language. Music is a language that
anyone can speak through proper training and practice. For me music is a way to worship God. Because
according to our music literature the proper music ever written in the history of mankind is made to
worship God even in the bible you can read that king David played a musical instrument, harp to be exact,
in that case I think music is made by God and its purpose is to glorify him. One of the most prominent
composers of the classical era Ludwig Van Beethoven said that he doesn’t deserve his talent that it’s
belongs to someone higher than him. Music changed my life, it changed my point of view in life, music
helped me become a better person, it helped me understand things in different perspective, music means
so much to me that’s why for me it’s the most fascinating word.
EDITED Reflection #1

The word that fascinates me the most is the word music. Music is a form of art that is temporal;
you can record it but it will never be the same experience when you witness it in person. It is unlike the
paintings that last forever if you preserve them. This is why for every musician, every minute of practice
is critical. He/she needs to really check if he/she practicing a piece the right way. This is because if one
practices it wrong for a long time, he/she will have a hard time correcting it. Music for me is a food for
the soul; it enhances your ability to think, your creativity, your self-confidence and your critical thinking.
In addition, another reason why music fascinates me is that it has no limitation, itself fascinates me; it is
one thing that the whole world enjoys. Every part of the world has its own way of producing music.

In my opinion, music is a gift of God to his people, and it is one of his greatest gifts to the world.
Some people use music for enjoyment. Some uses it for money while some use it for their soul. In relation
to this, music helps a person express emotions if he/she feels that words are not enough.

Aside from giving enjoyment, music also connects people even though they speak different
languages. Music is a language that anyone can speak through proper training and practice.

For me, music is a way to worship God. According to our music literature, the proper (what do
you mean by proper?) music ever written in the history of mankind was made for worship to God. Even in
the Bible, one can read that King David played a musical instrument, harp to be exact. In that case, I think
music is made by God and its purpose is to glorify him. One of the most prominent composers of the
classical era Ludwig Van Beethoven said that he doesn’t deserve his talent, that it belongs to someone
higher than him.

Music changed my life. It changed my point of view in life and helped me become a better
person. It helped me understand things in different perspective. Music means so much to me, and that is
the reason why, for me, it’s the most fascinating word.
