1. Why made you like Industrial Art STRAND than the other strands?

From the gathered answers in question number one, 40% of the Grade 12 students like
Industrial Art Strand because it was in demand overseas and local. 20% of them said that they
chose it because of the high salary and another 20% said that it was compatible for their skills.

2. What convinces you to choose SMAW?

Summarizing the collected answers of Grade 12 students in question number two, 60%
of them said that they chose SMAW because of its high salary in other country. 10% of them
said that they chose it because they want to use this skill or job to help their parents. Another
10% of them chose it because they are capable of taking college while taking SMAW at the
same time. 10% of them also said that they want to discover the things they can’t do and
know their limits through this SMAW and another 10% of them said that it is their stepping
stone for their future.

3. Why do you think you belong to IA STRAND?

According to the gathered answers, 40% of the students said that they think they belong
to Industrial Art Strand is because they have experience in this field and 40% of them said
that they have skills in this Strand. 10% of them believe that they can do it and it offers
permanent work in the future.

4. What are the reasons why you enrolled in IA SMAW STRAND?

From the gathered answered in question number four, 10% of them said that they enrolled
in Industrial Art SMAW Strand is because they want to have additional knowledge about
welding. Majority of them with 40% said that it was in demand and 20% said that it is
because of high profits or earnings. 10% said that they want to get NCII that they can use in
the future while 20% of them said that they want to develop their skills in welding.
5. Did you think through your decisions in in choosing your STRAND? How?

According to the collected answers from question number five, all of the grade 12
students that were interviewed think through their decision in choosing their Strand. 40% of
them said that they chose it because they want to help their family and save money as much as
possible through their chosen Strand. 10% of them said that they love welding and they chose
it for themselves while another 40% of them said that the reason is because it cost less money
to pursue their Strand.

6. Four years from now, how do you see yourself?

Summarizing the collected answers from question number 6, majority of them with 80%
said that they see themselves four years from now as a professional welder. Having the same
percentage of 10, they said that they see themselves as successful welder and shop owner.
