Community Driven Land Acquisition and Home Development

collective resiliency of Awao Farmers Community Savings Association (AFACSA), they acquired a 1 ½ hectare property. • Property was acquired by AFACSA through its members’ community savings. Home design and subdivision plans are expected to be presented by the architects by December 2018 for approval of the community. • Estimated total cost for house construction and site development is Six Million Pesos (P6,000,000.00) • AFACSA is registered/ accredited in the Sangguniang Bayan of Monkayo, Compostela Valley Province, Mindanao. They have 40 members involved in the housing project. • A 1 unit decent house is projected to cost at P300,000 X 50 units = P15,000,000.00
