MARTIN GARRIX

He was born on May 14, 1996, in Amstelveen, The Netherlands.

Son of Gerard Garritsen and Karin Nieuwkerk. He had a sister, Laura.

He studied at the Herman Brood Academy, in Utrecht where he coincided with Julian
Jordan.

He learned to play the guitar when he was eight years old and when he was twelve,
he played on family birthdays with the alias DJ Marty.

His first high-level production was on the theme Tu cuerpo by Christina Aguilera.
The singer included the remix in her album Lotus.

On June 17, 2013, he released the song Animales, with Spinnin Records, which was
ranked No. 1 in Belgium and the United Kingdom, and No. 3 in Ireland. His simple Wizard,
produced with Jay Hardway, was a success in many countries.

In February 2015, the track Forbidden Voices was published as a gift

Aprendió a tocar la guitarra con ocho años de edad y a los doce, tocaba en los

Su primera producción high level fue del tema Your Body de Christina Aguilera. La
cantante incluyó el remix en su álbum Lotus.
