PURPOSE OF To attend technical discussion and witness Factory Acceptance Test
TRAVEL (FAT) and Performance Test of new LV Switchgear at PT. TAMCO
INDONESIA
1.0 OBJECTIVE

To seek VP/CEO of PGB approval for Business Travel Plan (BTP) for attend technical
discussion, witness Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Performance Test of new LV
Switchgear at PT. TAMCO Indonesia, Blok F, No.36, Jalan Jababeka Raya, Jababeka
Industrial Estate, Cikarang Utara, Bekasi 17530, tentatively on 26th – 28th March 2019 for
Segamat Operation Centre.

2.0 BACKGROUND

2.1 SOC, Gas Transmission & Regasification (GTR) of PETRONAS Gas Berhad
(PGB), had purchased new Low Voltage LV Switchgear MCC 203 – Z – 100 as
per approved CAPEX budget for FY2018.

2.2 Based on Asset Life Study Conducted in 2017, considering the severity of the
criticality and product was discontinued since in 1995, it was proposed to purchase
Low Voltage Switchgear MCC 203 – Z – 100 to replace the existing LV Switchgear.

3.0 JUSTIFICATION

3.1 Part of the quality control requirements for the LV Switchgear, FAT shall be
conducted. This shall be done prior to deliver to the site to verify on the operational
requirements, protection & control system, cooling system and performance of the
unit meeting design intent.

3.2 The FAT as stated in PTS 13.11.02 is a hold point and shall be carried to
guarantee the operational of LV Switchgear as per agreed testing plan/procedure
and complies with the requirements.
3.3 Participations of PGB representatives in this FAT is crucial as per following
reason:

3.3.1 To participate and witness all the testing in ensuring the quality and
performance of new LV Switchgear.
 3.3.2 To ensure that the measurement of new LV Switchgear shall suit the
existing facilities including ATS, Transformer as well as monitoring &
safeguarding cabling.
3.3.3 To verify and confirm on any technical matters and ensure timely
resolution of any technical and design issues.
3.3.4 To avoid reworks and miss-communication with regards to subject
matters which may impact the delivery of the equipment.
3.3.5 Opportunity to learn and discuss the best engineering practices which
can be applied during operation according to manufacturer
recommendation.

3.4 This intent has been reviewed and approved with full endorsement by GPU
Electrical Technical Authority, Ir. Azwanizam Che Abd Rahman.

4.0 TRAVELLING ITINERARY & EXPENSES

4.1 The following staffs are nominated to attend this FAT:

4.2 The detail travel plan and estimated travelling cost is in Attachment 1

4.3 As there may be future changes on the travel plan due to emergencies, flight/hotel
limitations, a blanket approval with the basis above is requested for travel by the
nominated staff during the duration stated above.

4.4 The travel cost for this travel is estimated to be RM 1,720.00 and is within the
allocated and available amount in the approved budget of RM 32,800.00

4.5 The following WBS has been assigned for the travelling claims for this project:
F.009.03PRJ18.00010

5.0 RECCOMMENDATION

VP/CEO of PGB is recommended to approve this Business Travel Plan for FAT – technical
discussion and witness Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Performance Test of new LV
Switchgear at PT. TAMCO Indonesia, Blok F, No.36, Jalan Jababeka Raya, Jababeka
Industrial Estate, Cikarang Utara, Bekasi 17530 Indonesia
