How to get your Bonus 5%
• Submit the activity sheet you completed in class.
• Book an appointment on the mySprott portal with BCMC. Go to
Carleton Central, Student Support Services, “mySprott”, fill out
the short profile/log-in, then choose the Appointments tab.
• OR, take your chances with our drop-in hours, 10-noon Tuesday,
2-4 Thursdays.
• The appointment will be your choice of a Resume Review (bring a
hard copy of your resume) OR a mini-mock interview of about 3
questions.
• Your appointment needs to be completed by 4 pm Friday, April
12, 2019.
• You must complete both elements – attended the class/exercise
sheet plus the BCMC appointment – to receive the bonus marks.
Mock Interview Example Questions
Practice these types of questions:
1. Tell me about yourself.
2. Describe a situation where you demonstrated good
customer service or excellent communication skills.
3. Relate an experience that shows teamwork.
4. Tell me a time when you demonstrated critical thinking
skills.
5. Random-type question: If you could meet any world
leader, living or dead, who would that be and why?
NOTE: You do NOT need to wear a business suit for the
mock interview option.
