Introduccion
In this paper it is presented information about air pollution
forms of contamination
The consequences it brings contaminate ire for humans
How important it is for humans to care for the air and our health can be affected.

Air pollution
Air pollution occurs when certain toxic gases in contact with the particles of the
atmosphere, seriously impairing and harmful to human health, animals and plants.
How the air is contaminated?
Air is composed of 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and the rest carbon and noble
gases such as helium, neon, and radon dioxide. Radon is a radioactive gas that is
produced naturally but in large quantities causes lung cancer. This gas persists in
areas of high concentrations of uranium.
Among the molecules of air pollution are easy spaces where gases harmful to
health occupy those holes.
Some air pollutants directly damage in their natural state, such as hydrocarbons,
marine aerosols, erosion or the African dust. While others need to be combined to
affect the atmosphere as tropospheric ozone.

Air pollution

The main gases are air pollutants:

 Sulfur oxide originating from oil refineries

 Carbon monoxide stoves and cars

 Nitrogen oxide points that exist in nuclear power and internal combustion
vehicles

 Carbon dioxide from industry and deforestation activity

Consequences of air pollution

Air pollution causes serious effects on humans causing coughing, eye and throat
irritation, respiratory problems, nervous and cardiovascular reaching cause cancer.
Several epidemiological studies warn that prolonged exposure to air pollution
affects so harmful to health, increase emergency room visits, hospital admissions
and deaths.
The segment of the population most affected by this contamination are pregnant,
patients with respiratory complications, the elderly and children. The latter finish
developing at age 25, so inhaling polluted air interferes with the growth of their
lungs. The baseline function of your lungs will be low throughout his life.
Ozone (O3) is formed by 3 molecules of oxygen, one more than what is in the air
we breathe. This layer is important because it protects us from the sun's ultraviolet
rays. But the gases from industrial and overpopulated areas, and places where
coexists car traffic and high temperatures have made the layer decreases. The
most affected areas are rural and suburban for the release of chlorofluorocarbons
in aerosols and air conditioners. The lack of ozone can cause melanoma, cataracts
and damage to crops because it would damage ultraviolet rays.
The greenhouse effect is caused by the accumulation in the atmosphere of gases
such as water vapor, methane and nitrous oxide. The main responsible for this
phenomenon is the famous CO2 or carbon dioxide. This gas absorbs heat
radiation, causing the radiant energy reflected from the Earth's surface, is captured
in the atmosphere. Thus it raises its temperature and that of the planet, and also
the gases and particles that are floating in the air build a screen that prevent us
from seeing the sun clearly.
Solutions to air pollution

The best remedy air pollution is to base our whole life in clean and renewable
energy. Besides encouraging use of public transport , bicycle and electric car . It is
also important to control gas emissions by the authorities to encourage the use of
alternative sources.
Polluted air affects both developed and those who are mired in la probes countries.
Since Inspiration believe that the most deprived communities suffer directly as air
pollution harms their crops , their work and their daily lives. Our counterpart in Mali
works to reduce the effects of carbon emissions on the crops of the inhabitants of
Bandager and fight for these villagers have access to water and against child
malnutrition
Effects of air pollution
Air pollution is caused by the presence in the air of toxic substances produced by
human activity in recent times.

These gases and chemicals in the atmosphere generated amount of phenomena

and consequences to ecosystems and living beings that inhabit the planet.

Among the many harmful effects include:

 Deterioration in human health, cardiovascular problems, conjunctivitis,

bronchial diseases, lung cancer, skin cancer, vision problems, blood
diseases, problems in mental development of the unborn, among others.
 Great repercussions in the evolutionary process of plants, preventing
photosynthesis in many cases, with serious consequences for the
purification of air they breathe other living beings on the planet.
 Decreased production of edible plants due to the same process mentioned
in the previous point, with the known effects on feed consumed species,
including man.
 The buildup of these gases in the atmosphere causes the known
environmental problems and their consequences in each individual case,
such as smog, acid rain, reducing the ozone layer, global warming, the
greenhouse effect.
AIR: It is the gaseous layer that surrounds the earth. The air we breathe has a very
complex composition and contains around 1,000 different compounds.

ELEMENTS:

The main elements found in the air are nitrogen, oxygen and hydrogen. Without
these three elements, the ground life would be impossible. Air contains argon
which is an inert gas, carbon dioxide (CO2), insignificant amounts of methane and
radon.

INGREDIENTS:

Constant components of the air are about 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and the
remaining 1% is composed of gases such as carbon dioxide, argon, neon, helium,
hydrogen, other gases and water vapor.

The variable components are the other gases and vapors from the air
characteristic of a particular place.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:

 It is lighter weight than water.

 It is less dense than water.
 No definite volume
 Not exist in a vacuum
 It is a clear, colorless, odorless and tasteless fluid.
 It is a good thermal and electrical insulation.
Conclusion

The talk on this subject has made me come to the conclusion that we are living in a
very unpleasant

and the worst are the same people who are promoting all this happens because
with all the technology we need to live we are hurting our environment; it seems
illogical to allow the departure of so many products on the market, if they have the
idea that they are hurting our environment, there must be control of these products
to decrease rather than increase, as we all know, there are products such as
aerosols spray or who have already left the market, being these that pollute and
damage the atmosphere who have the logistical support of many multinational
companies.

A large industries they are in most contaminated, should have control over that if
they exceed the pollutants released, the close down or take other strategies that do
not follow these contaminated. Education to the population is a very important
strategy because it depends on the population of this change, we must start by
changing our attitude and thus pass on this knowledge to the younger members of
the house with the example, that they likewise be made aware and change their
attitude, to me I think is the most important education to children who are the future
of the world and they depend our survival, and dependent adults in the world we
want our children to live so we just be aware of the damage we cause to the use of
these products and will diminish and thus a big change.

Recommendations

 Refine and maintain cars

 Avoid burning trash and tires, and the use of artificial rockets
 Avoid buying disposable plastic items that are not biodegradable.
 Recycle the trash
 Do not throw trash in the street, woods and parks, wrap it or cover it well at
home
 Rational use of pesticides
 To avoid the use of tobacco
 Tending forests not cause fires or destroy the green areas of the city
 Postpone gardening tasks that require the use of tools to gasoline in days of
high ozone level.
 Consume organic food or at least those not having undergone such
intensive use of agrochemicals. (You can grow them in compost roof you
made yourself)
 Restrict dry cleaning.
 Avoid using paints, oils and solvents in days of high ozone concentration.
 Reduce consumption of electricity, which will contribute to reducing
emissions of pollutants and particulates.
 Starts charcoal with an electric starter instead of liquid fuel.
 Apply the power of the 3 Rs: Reduce-Reuse-Recycle. Lower consumption
will result in less air pollution of all kinds.
