RESUMEN
ABSTRACT
This article of research interest aims to contribute to the teaching of science from
didactics, modeling and construction of bioprotypes. This objective arises from the need to
generate innovative strategies that facilitate the teaching and learning of the natural
sciences in elementary and primary school students, since, due to experience in
pedagogical practice, it was identified as a need; this in order to facilitate the construction
of systematic biological thinking in students of grade 502 that allows them to appropriate
the topic of gas exchange and respiratory system.
The execution of this project took place in the Estanislao Zuleta school with students of
grade 5, where two focus groups were taken (8 students in each group) which were
developed in a series of workshops and activities that allowed them to be modeled and
constructed. a didactic object that responds and problematizes the topic addressed.

Por otra parte la modelización tiene un valor educativo ya que promueve capacidades e
ideas referentes a fenómenos naturales. El valor educativo de este tipo de modelos en la
modelización científica escolar radica en promover la capacidad de organizar y promover
las ideas que expresan los estudiantes acerca de fenómenos naturales, así como la de
debatir y alcanzar consenso sobre estas ideas representadas mientras buscan dar sentido
