GLOBAL WARMING

Nowadays, global warming is increasing in the earth's average atmospheric temperature that
causes changes in climate and that may result from the greenhouse effect. It’s having
significant and harmful effects on our communities, health, and weather. Also, we must work
to stop global warming or its consequences will continue to intensify, grow ever more and
affecting our planet. However, every single human being can help to stop this problem
reducing carbon emissions, slowing the pace of global warming, and broadcast on a safer
world to future generations.

First of all, one of the consequences of global warming is that the temperature of the earth is
rising. Globally, the average surface temperature has increased more than one degree
Fahrenheit since the late 1800s. Also, most of that increase has occurred over just the past
three decades. Thus, the scientific evidence is clear and within the scientific community,
there is no debate. An overwhelming majority of climate scientists agree that global warming
is happening and that human activity is the primary cause because we are overloading our
atmosphere in some way with carbon dioxide.

Currently, global warming is already having significant and costly effects and these
consequences will only intensify as the planet’s temperature continues to rise. This factor is
accelerating the rate of sea level rise and dramatically increasing coastal flooding risks,
especially on the U.S. East Coast and Gulf of Mexico. The fire season is the longest in
Western U.S. this occurs as temperatures rise. Thus, heat waves are dangerously harmful and
frequently more than 60 years ago. So, Climate change has significant implications for our
health, including increased air pollution and more intense allergy season. We must not forget
that the high level of rainfall events increase the risk of flooding.
Actually, there are some solutions that significantly reduce what we are doing to our
atmosphere. As individuals, we can help by taking action to reduce our personal carbon
emissions. But, to fully address the threat of global warming, we must demand action from
our elected leaders. Also, we must stop deforestation, this can lower global warming
emissions and plays an integral role in this solution. Thus, we must fight misinformation.
Media pundits, partisan think tanks, and special interest groups raise doubts about the truth
of global warming. This barrage of misinformation misleads that confuses the public and
makes it more difficult to implement effective solutions. Ultimately, we must prepare for
impacts, as certain consequences are inevitable.

In conclusion, global warming is an increase in the earth's average atmospheric temperature

which it is having harmful effects and very important in our lives such as rising sea levels by
melting icecaps, forest fires, health damage and hot weather today. But together, we can
combat this problem that is happening now, to power live in a better world and leave a safer
future for future generations.
