For us to provide the optimal experience of using our system, a system with a strong infrastructure and
infrastructure integrity is without a doubt a necessity in bringing the best interest in the system. There
is no one who would use a system which would fail its user unexpectedly, so allow me to explain why
our system event notification system would be more beneficial compared to other system. To achieve
that, we have done a thorough research on the features which is available in the current industry and
evaluate in term of its popularity, functionality and reliability. We have also brainstormed a few features
which are unique to our event notification system. Therefore, our system will be well-equipped with
extra features in bringing you the best experience.

1. Security
a. Users privacy and personal confidential data is very important. This is because based
on my personal experience, my Facebook account has been hacked before and I know
how it felt. Therefore, our system will be fully equipped with user personal data
encryption where even the developer would not know your personal details because it
is encrypted where only the user could see their personal details.
b. While users are using the system, the system will constant check for user’s idleness. If
the users are idling and is not using the system for a certain period. The system will
automatically log the user out of the system and require the user to relog into the system.
So that user accounts are not tampered with by individuals other than the owner of the
account.

2. Direct emailing capabilities

a. To enhance the event notification experience, the proposed system will provide
quick-and-easy emailing capabilities for making enquiries regarding posted events.
This is because we want to make event participants and event organization alike to
properly communicate event information currently organized.
b. The system will allow users to directly email the representatives of events (which are
included in each event post) directly through a convenient click of a button.
c. Representative of events may request for private emailing where users must first
make a request and obtain approval before being given the details and capabilities of
emailing the representative.

3. Event searching and sorting

a. To further enhance the event notification experience, the proposed system will include
searching and sorting capabilities for easier access to information regarding events.
This is because we want our users to be able to easily find the type of events they are
interested in without going through a long list.
b. Users will be able to search for events by keywords that reflect the content or title of
events.
c. Events may be sorted by date, recency, category, status, and representative.

4. External content linking

a. The proposed system will provide support for making use of external resources to
enrich postings of events, allowing for more attractive advertisements and
promotions. This is because we want our users to be able to contact the event
organizer using not just our internal communication capabilities but also external
communication application. For event organizer, we also provide them with the
 capabilities to further their event information through external platform to advertise
their event.
b. All events may contain convenient links to relevant content outside of the system,
such as further contact information, social media page/platforms, and different web
pages.

5. System Information/Help centre

a. An easily accessible and noticeable information/help centre containing information
users can seek as guidance in using the system will be provided within the system.
This is because we want to make sure all users of event notification system are aware
of how to use the system and for those new users to quickly learn how to use our
system.
b. To ensure we can get necessary feedback from our users so that we could further
improve our event notification system to make our system bug-free. The system will
have a built-in rating survey to gathering feedback from system every time user
logged out of the system or the application has crash.
c. A forum is provided to users for to start discussions and ask questions regarding the
system or events where system administrators, event organizers, and other users may
participate in so that all users of the system are able to voice up their opinion in the
event currently happening and even suggest a way how should the system update to
further fit the users in a group forum discussion session.
