Synopsis

A SINGLE, UNCONVENTIONAL MOM

From first time Writer and Director Cathy Lynn
Yonek, comes this comedic short. The Crew is
comprised of Award Winners beginning with the
Director of Photography Domenico Grasso, to the
First AD, Jonnie Stapleton. Editor, Mike Nicholas
rounds out the group.

Cast
Cathy Lynn Yonek (Actor, Writer, Director, Producer)
Cathy hails from the small town
of California Pennsylvania. She
studied theatre at Point Park
College, Roger Williams College
in London England, with Stella
Adler in New York and then
with Julliard's Robert Neff
Williams. Aside from her TV
and Film appearances, Cathy
has written a novel, Locked In
and is working on her second
novel, Matsutake. Cathy's love
of theatre and film is only
equaled by her love of animals,
big and small.

Louie Enrique

Louie Enriquez was most


recently seen as Chip in the
Lifetime movie, Running
Away. Other credits
include: the feature film
Point Break (Rider); a co-
star on the CBS drama,
Criminal Minds (Hector); a
sci-fi/fantasy short film by
director Tancredi Di Paola,
Mama (Baby Fiend)
two drama short films by director Nick Naveda: Judi
(Andy) and Say You Will (Sam).
Stage credits at Loyola Marymount University include: Tartuffe (Tartuffe); Can’t Imagine
Tomorrow; OK (Kyle); Chaves Ravine (Henry). He is currently a student at LMU studying
English, Drama, and Gender Studies.
Cast
Joshua Tyler Kelly
Joshua is a Michigan born actor who fell
into his passion. He was a college hockey
player before an indie film came to his
college and needed people to help with
the film. He auditioned as a favor to a
friend and somehow received a pretty
big role. He fell in love with acting and
quickly changed his degree to it and
moved out to LA after graduation! Josh
has been featured in commercials, TV
Award shows, and indie films.

Sam Dissanayake
Sam has
appeared in
over 25
commercials
including the
national spot
for Skittles
with Rock
Star Steven
Tyler. In
addition, he
has done
voice work
for such
blockbuster
films as Lord
of the Rings.
Movie goers may remember Sam as the hilarious Eastern Doctor in "This is
40", directed by Judd Apatow.

Brooke Lusk
Brooke is from Sacramento, CA. She began modeling and acting for
the Ford Agency at the age of 12. Brooke has appeared in
commercials such as the Shark Ninja Blender, infomercials, and
features. Most recently in the feature Into The Devils' Reach. She is a
huge fan of horror films and books. She loves to stay active with
hiking and pickup soccer.

Domenico Grasso, cinematographer

Domenico is an Italian
cinematograher based
in LA. After completing
studies at UCLA in 2009,
he started to craft his
style doing freelance
jobs.
His portfolio includes the movie “Best of Seven”
available to rent or buy online, and the award
winning, “The Man From Mars”, Grand Prize winner
of The Louisiana Film Prize in 2016.

Jonnie Stapleton, First AD


Jonnie is a Los Angeles based writer and
director best known for his short film, “The
Man From Mars,” grand prize winner of the
2016 Louisiana Film Prize. Other credits
include his recent short, “Stag” and the
feature length comedy, “Best of Seven,” which
he also starred in playing seven different
characters. It is available to purchase or rent
through itunes, Amazon and Walmart.com.

Paul Wustrack, Sound Mixer


Avery Randolph, Boom Operator
Paul has been working professionally in
sound for more than 15 years. He is an
award nominated Sound designer, most
recently for the film The Stroke of Faith.
He is pictured here with his son, Avery,
who was the boom operator for Average
Mom.

Mike Nicholas, Editor
Mike is an editor based in Los Angeles..He studied Theatre at
UCLA and is a writer in addition to editing in Premiere. He’s
edited for independent shorts, features and promos for
Samsung.

Rich Gill, Still Photographer


Rich is an award winning photographer and retired
Veteran with 22 years of active military service.
Having worked on numerous productions in both film
and television. He continue to support new and
upcoming programs that enable creative artists to
bring their innovative ideas to fruition.
