Dear Sir:
It is with significant interest presenting myself to have the wonderful opportunity to audition for the SING
PHILIPPINES YOUTH CHOIR MUSIC CAMP AND OUTREACH 2019 European Tours 2020. With an extensive
music related exposure, I am optimistic in my ability to become a part and share my passion for choral
singing.

I am a holder of Bachelors degree in Secondary Education Major in General Science with 6 units of
Foundations of Music Arts 1 & 2 from Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology and I am
currently a 2nd year Graduate Scholar of Masters in Culture and Arts Studies with working thesis title on
Higaonon Chants and Music (ethnomusicology) of the same institution.

During the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to be associated with multiple choirs in various
permanent and freelancing roles. Working as a Sub, Regular at the Voice and Instrumental arts school, I
have honed my performance, technical and conducting skills and gained competency in combining my
musical skills with peers and students.

I have been passionate with music which gave me the bright lights of my career path. It all started when I
came to be a part of The Octava Choral Society under the baton of Maestro Frank A. Englis. My exposure
and choral experience for 18 years has molded me into the world I am into recently. With those years of
experience in choral music, it has lead me to where I am now. I am able to share my passion with my
students. And also, it lead me to my enthusiasm and optimism in joining the Sing Philippines Youth Choir
Batch 3 family. My life in choral music is a blessing and I am very willing to share with all my heart and
passion.

I am seeking a challenging but rewarding position, which is why I was naturally drawn to this exciting
opportunity. Having a spot and chance of being a part of this outreach tours would be another fulfillment
as a passionate music teacher and share my experiences and stories to every young musician out there in
spite a cruel dark world they are into.
I have always believed in Beethoven’s passion and in music which says, “I have never thought of writing
for reputation and honor. What I have in my heart must come out; that is the reason why I compose”. And
hopefully more of choral music and singing with my SPYC Family.
