We will have to conduct an analysis of our environment in which we are going to undertake our
business, the two systems which are widely used for such analysis are SWOT and PESTLE.

2.1 SWOT

Both SWOT and PESTLE analyses can be used if they work in your environment – if not, just adapt this

STRENGTHS WEAKNESSES

Economic committee to develop a Risk analysis tool, which can assess the risks associated with a
favoured investment in preferred industries in to the following categories

1. Yellow – Low risks between the range of 1 - 5

2. Amber – Intermediate risk between range of 5 – 7

3. Red - High Risk above the range of 7 - 10

We should include the sources of capital which help the economic committee in investing in to
business and to generate revenue. This section of the document should also clarify the how the
