ICELAND

ICELAND.

Iceland is a very safe country and live there. The prices of

energy and gasoline are very cheap. When it comes to
housing, most people have allowed themselves to have
their own house.

The people in general are friendly and very open, especially in the bars at night
Life in general is quite relaxed. Well, on an island with only 300, 000 inhabitants and
more than 100, 000 km2, there is not much burden either.

In each city and town you can find thermal pools where people relax. This is an
Icelandic pleasure that has no comparison. Iceland is a quiet country where people
enjoy life. This volcanic and magical island offers infinite possibilities on how to have
fun and there is always a new place to discover. There is no stress and during the
summer days when there are no nights one feels that there is no better place to live.

It is not easy to find work. The weather is not so favorable, especially during winters
when there is not much daylight. Even Icelanders are very depressed and there are
many who say that everything and everyone looks gray. Iceland is one of the
countries that has more homicides in the world which shows that there are also dark
sides in this society.

Living in Iceland can be difficult especially during the long winters when many areas
will be isolated. In places outside Reykjavík to Akureyri there is practically nothing,
except glaciers, volcanoes, lava deserts, rivers, animals and small towns. The
Icelandic language is quite complicated so there are only a few who manage to learn
it well.
