Procedure:
Add all ingredients of Part A on the main beaker and heat to 80-95°C on slow propeller mixing until all
melted, uniform. On a separate beaker, or weigh dish, mix Part B to create uniform colour dispersion.
When Part A is at its appropriate temperature, add Part B to A and continue propeller mixing until uniform
(adjust speed accordingly to avoid aeration). Add Part C ingredients to the main beaker slowly and
individually (Use PPE as needed) until uniform. Keep mixing for 10-20 minutes to fully incorporate the
powders at a constant slow mixing speed while maintaining temperature to 85-95°C to let any aeration
subside. Once aeration is minimal, stop mixing and fill on appropriate componentry at 85°C.

Texture Analyser Test: 24 Hours after pouring on componentry. Average readings are below with 3 trials.
 Breakage: 619 gr +/- 18.94gr

 Stiffness: 0.42g/mm +/- 0.09 g/mm

Filling Instructions:
**Important: Fill Temperature: 80-85°C.

1. When filling, make the flow and the first contact of the product on the centre of the component / base.
2. The product should be hitting the clear plastic material first then maintain momentum as you fill only 3/4
of the tube without hitting the sides. Let the product flow up steadily.
3. Let the product solidify.
4. Once the product has solidified, fill the other 1/4 of the product 5-10°C higher than the fill temp of the
first 3/4 in order to melt the surface of the first product fill and seal the interface.
*Note: this technique is not perfect but will be similar to the aesthetics created with a proper moulding
apparatus.
5. Let product solidify.
6. Place the sticks on a freezer plate for 10min without twisting the package. Do not put the cap on until
the stick has thaw sticks back to RT.
7. After 10 min remove them from the freezer and let thaw to RT.
8. When sticks are back at RT, twist them up slowly to inspect the stick integrity.
**It helps to warm the packaging up as well on 50°C prior to filling for a few minutes to maintain equilibrium
and avoid shrinkage.
